There was no useful information, and it is too late- my server has died. We have no PVP, no heroics, no HM runs or at level FP. Promising a vague fix at some indefinite future point is not acceptable.

Re: Population Estimates for the Top 20 US Servers

It really is that bad. My guild went from having 20 something players logged in prime time to 1 or two. It is impossible to find a PUG Hardmode, and leveling alts in empty zones means no heroics or random interesting player interactions. It makes me so sad to see such a fun game mismanaged so badly. They should have consolidated servers 6 weeks before 1.2.

Re: Deviants, idiots and a talking toaster

Gage lost his frontal lobes, which serve more like brakes for deep brain impulses. Rather than being unable to apply emotion to his behaviors, he was unable to resist impulses, which can arise in response to emotions such as anger or lust.

(Great article, just thought the neuroscience should be clarified.)

Re: Good run while it lasted

I unsubbed both accounts, but since I pay by the year, I have plenty of time to get sucked back in if CCP returns to sanity. This has led to the success of the Drake army, and later Alpha Fleet. An advantage of requiring certain fits is it helps get fleet comps balanced for optimal efficacy, while allowing the space-rich to fly whatever they please.

Re: CCP chooses excellence

My long term dream is that CCP implements physics that account for line of fire, so that fleet position and movement become critical for large scale battles.

Being able to duck behind a Titan when your Falcon gets targeted would be awesome. Plus some weapons like missiles would be able to fly around, anyway. This would bring truly epic battles, plus there would be a limit to the blob as you would need line of sight to actually hit your target!

Re: T20 Redux!

I expect this will blow over soon:

http://www.massively.com/20...

Re: Can't buy me love.

Certainly, no one wants their game ruined. I know some F2P MMOs have been ridiculous in the need to engage in RMT. In EVE, the RMT is really there for specialized circumstances. It certainly doesn't seem necessary, but it could enable someone with cash to spare to lose more ships in PVP without having to rat or use a trade alt.

Re: Can't buy me love.

My point is that I would personally rather directly add SP to my main than buy someone else's toon that might have problematic history, etc. In truth, I am not really in the market for buying accounts or supers anyway! You have room for a codebreaker, hacker, salvagers and tractor beams in the highs with a good armor tank. The main problem is you will be gimped for PVP if you load the mids with cap rechargers to keep cap stable. You could fight a bit, but you would likely get killed!

Re: Dominion: What I want to see

I want to see Null sec populated by empowered industrialists who love a bit of pew!

Re: Tweet Fleet & Goodies

Awesome Rettic!
