To Chris Norwood, Please tell us why the title to your article involves the words confiscates puppies rather than confiscates dogs. All puppies are dogs but not all dogs are puppies. We all know that almost everyone has a soft spot in their heart for cute little puppies. This is the vision most people have in their mind when they read this headline. This reminds me of the government's claim that we have to give up certain freedoms for the sake of the children. After all, who can be against the children? To Daily Home Editorials: You say that "Maybe one of the strongest arguments for government involvement in a managed health care system is that we are already paying for socialized medicine in this country". This is partly true. Medicare is a government insurance policy that everyone who is recognized by the government as earning an income is forced to buy. This can not be regarded as socialism. Medicaid is where the socialism part comes into play.

Maybe I just missed it but I have never seen a sign in a hospital or doctor's office saying that they can not refuse to treat anyone regardless of their ability to pay. I think that I know that there is a federal law requiring hospital emergency rooms to accept people who check into the emergency rooms to receive treatment. I don't think that this applies to the doctor's office. Maybe I am wrong about this but let's put it to the test. I would like for you to help prove that anyone can receive service from a doctor even with no money and no insurance. Please pick up your phone and call any doctor in Talladega and request an appointment under an assumed name. Be sure to say that you have no money and no insurance and let us know if you get an appointment. This service on your part will be very much appreciated by me and many other readers.

I think it would really be great if every person in this country could be voluntarily covered by some type health and wellness insurance, however we must face the facts that there are no spoken plans to produce enough new doctors and hospitals to provide care for another 50 million people. If these people are instantly covered by the law then there is no way to avoid some type rationing even if it is only in the form of getting in line for longer waits to see your own doctor. Let's put the horse before the cart. We don't have enough doctors coming on line now and it takes a minimum of 6 years to graduate a competent doctor. Hospitals are not built overnight and it takes billions of dollars to staff and equip hospitals with the latest technology. We need to put first things first and then began phasing the presently uninsured in. The balance between supply and demand is very important.

I have read this information several times over the last two months and I don't recall seeing her picture over once or twice. The description is very helpful but we meet dozens of women each day who meet that description. It shouldn't be too much trouble for you to post a picture each time you report this. If the price of ink is too high to print it in the paper at least please post it on the net.

To maryleelee, You have given very good advice. Anything to stop the spread of any virus or bacteria is important. The best way to do this in addition to what you suggested is to consume colloidal silver daily. Silver is the oldest and most effective preventive against all known viruses and bacteria. To miss 1090, No Sharron I am not an authority on what a Christian is or is not suppose to do. The only thing I know about the part concerning gambling is what the preachers said on TV when we had a choice to vote on whether or not to have a lottery. One hundred percent of the preachers said that the lottery was wrong and urged their members to vote against it.

I did say that I have heard that you were quit hefty but I didn't call you hefty. I never called you a goon. I referred to a group of people being goons. If you think you fit in that group then don't blame it on me. I never said that you are stupid. That is a word that I do not use lightly. If you can find a place in any of my comments where I have ever called you stupid then bring it to my attention and I will apologize. I did say that I did not insult your intelligence because you didn't have any to insult. I did not say that you were a big Christian. All I said is that I had been told that you claim to be a big Christian.

I see your dogs running up and down this road frequently. You are telling me that if you see a dog that you can't identify then you will take him off to be executed. You don't sound like the same bleeding heart I heard from a couple of days ago.

I never accused you of stealing my dog. As far as these other thing go, you can decide for yourself it they are true.

Let me say one last thing Sharon. This comment board is not for people who have their feelings easily hurt. If you are going to play with the big boys you have to learn to take the punches. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

I'm not concerned about the world ending. I am concerned about my fellow man and am trying to help people be more informed so they will have a better chance of making it through the hard times that lie ahead. You say you don't need to chill out or calm down but by reading your comments, you sound like an old woman facing menopause, having hot flashes and trying desperately to convince herself that she is happy.

You are defending the people who snatched those little dogs up and took them away. I had a little one year old beagle that went missing about two years ago. We are trying to inform people of the things that lie ahead for the world. Some people can see over the hill and around the curve and some can't. Obliviously you fall in the latter group. The Bible tells us about the future and to be prepared. The Bible is not there to spread fear and neither are we. We are simply asking people to recognize the present day circumstances and the obvious and prepare for the future. I hope that you visit the sites that Darryl and I sent to the readers.

To destry_brown, You seem to be puzzled by what Darryl is saying. The entire would is going 90 MPH down a dead end street. People who take the swine flu vaccine will get sick and some if not most will die. That in itself would be enough for the government to declare Marshall law but there will most likely be a forth attack on us bigger than 911. Waco was the first followed by Oklahoma City and then Manhattan, each one larger than the one before. When we have Marshall law and the economy is complete destroyed and people are starving the government will come to your rescue and take you to a FEMA camp where the diseases will be spread to finish you off. Just cool off Mr tsh1988, I appreciate the fact that Sharon had a faithful companion that saved her life. If I ever find myself in the same circumstance I pray that I would be so fortunate. I love dogs as much as anyone on this earth. I have a little bob tailed fice that I love and there is not enough money in the world to cause me to give him up.

As far as me being a lonely old man, I am a little older than you but I am anything but lonely. As far as these people going out for a drive and just picking up dogs, how can that be justified? What if they pick up a dog that belongs to somebody? I don't know Sharon but she has probably done a lot of good things in her life. Most people have.

I agree with you that this comment line is to discuss the subject of the alleged puppy mill on cemetery mt road. No I did not know that the people were raising dogs so don't tell ME what I know. I will tell YOU what I know. You just tell me what you know. I never heard of the place until I read about it in the paper. Well, I'm glad to hear that you don't want the woman crucified. The point that I have been trying to get across to Sharon and others is that this woman is innocent. The earliest date that she may be guilty is the day she goes to court. Sharon and people like give'emhellAL act like a vigilante group not being patient enough to wait until all the facts come out.

I'm not so sure that me or anyone else low rated Sharon. Yes, Sharon was criticized, I was criticized and many others were criticized. What goes around comes around. That is the way life is. I can say to you and Sharon and anybody else reading this to be patient and let the lady have her day in court. Remember at this point she is an Innocent person. There is no need to continue trashing her.

To miss 1090, I am not exactly sure why I am obsessed with panties. All I can say is that I am a man. I am sorry about you having a tumor on your foot and no I didn't know about it. If I knew more about it I might be able to recommend an herbal cure. you have a right under our First Amendment to post your opinions just the same as the rest of us as long as the moderator allows you on his forum. I am honestly saying that I could not hear those dogs barking. And yes the siren has made me partially deaf. That is the reason I am trying to get it moved. I do care about dogs. I own a dog and there's no way I could start a riot if I wanted to. As far as manhandling you, I wouldn't want to manhandle you. Even though I have never seen you I understand that you are quite hefty.

However you do need to think about what you are saying before saying it. Because I am not a woman I have little right to comment on abortion. I can say that you have a right to take a stand against anything you want to whether it is legal or not. You seem to be down on this lady who still owns these dogs even though she doesn't have custody now. Please keep your cool and Wait until she has her day in court before condemning her. She needs to be tried in court and not in the media or comment rooms like we are using now. Fifty one counts simply means that some over zealous policeman has charged her of the same offense 51 times involving the same case. To Thelmalou, I have been given information that she may be on the Larry Barton TV show this Sunday night at eight o'clock to tell her side of the story. Larry is on broadcast on channel 47. If you have cable or satellite you will need to contact your provider to find out which channel you will be able to receive channel 47 on.
