I have had more of an issue with Nip/Tuck myself, but as I said on FriendFeed, I have really never seen the show. It has always seemed to be a certain woman's/gay man's fantasy of, as you say, affording drinks and designer shoes and Manhattan apartments. Though, in that way, it's not much different from other TV or movies.

I am tearing up, my eyes are smarting. I was clutching at my throat the whole time I was reading about you waving your arms at people in the Arby's and realizing everyone was paralyzed... God, that is scary.

The man who galvanized the employee into action--I imagine he left because he knew you'd be embarrassed and not know what to say to him. Very considerate of him. :)

I feel the same way about it, Ginger. I've been finding FriendFeed a very exciting and fun place to be. But even now, in mid-June, it is way more crowded than it was in March--and I know that some kind of monetization is inevitable. I hope for the best, of course, but I do fear the worst.
