- Cameron is, I suspect, cut from the same cloth as Tony Blair. He's a good speaker, fairly quick witted, but it's all style and little substance.

If he wins the next election, I doubt we'll see any real policy changes where concessions to Islam are involved. Cameron - like Brown - will be desperate to woo Muslim voters and so won't alienate them.

I do think the Conservatives/Tories will win the next election, but by default, really. Brown is fast becoming a national joke.

I sincerely hope I'm proved wrong, and that Cameron proves to have more integrity. But consider this: the Tories are the Opposition but they haven't EVEN specified what their *upper limit* on immigration to the UK would be.

I didn't realise the exact same thing was happening across the pond. I truly hope that America does not follow down the same slippery slope of Islamification that Britain and much of Europe has.

I agree. It should be compulsory viewing for everyone in democratic, non Islamic countries. I'm glad this programme is being aired - there's a danger that the horrors of 9/11 might fade for some people outside America otherwise.

I will never, ever forget that morning, and watching the unfolding events on TV.

You've made a vital point. It's left wing liberals who keep insisting that Muslims 'want' to integrate into non Muslim society. And yes, some do. But many, many don't - as proven by their constant demands for concessions, and their collective temper tantrums the second non Muslim countries refuse to bow to Islam.

As for all these 'contributions' that Muslims have apparently made - perhaps we should make a list. Thus far, I've got:

- longer delays when flying, because of security concerns
- several British restaurants where meat eaters can't get pork, as the establishments have gone halal
- a trail of mayhem and bloodshed across the globe owing to Muslim terrorism

Er, that's all I seem to have thus far....

- just to note that the fact that Boris graduated with a first from Oxford doesn't mean a lot. I can tell you from personal experience that Oxbridge has its fair share of morons. Being able to do well in exams doesn't mean a person has any common sense. I met my fair share of twits at Cambridge, believe me :)

You've actually argued my point for me, without even realising it.

The sole reason that there were wars and deaths after a tiny part of Palestine was made the official home OF Palestinian Jews, i.e. Israel, was that ISLAM and also the Arab worlds went beserk at 0.01% of the Middle East being a Jewish state.

This is a matter of public record. From the 1920s onwards - and in fact before - Muslims and Arabs in Palestine were busy massacaring Palestinian JEWS purely because they WERE Jewish.

So your point in this regard is an absurd one and is easy to expose as such.

As for the scriptures: Yes, as I have ALREADY STATED several times, there are objectionable things in the texts of ALL the Abrahamic faiths.

I never denied it.

Yet still, you are ignoring the KEY point. The issue is not just what the texts say, it is how far any faith GOES in following them.

Answer me this: as of today, WHICH religion instructs that DEATH is the punishment for those leaving the faith - and which religion actually CARRIES out the prescribed punishment...?

Answer: ONLY ISLAM

Which religion states in its texts that ALL NON MEMBERS are inferior and must be either converted or killed - and WHICH religion, today, actually DOES THOSE THINGS?

Answer: ONLY ISLAM

I am not saying that 'all muslims' believe these things. But even if SOME do - and we know many do - that is still MILLIONS of people actively plotting the downfall of democracy.

If you think that is melodramatic, then I suggest you broaden your reading, because trust me, you haven't looked into this enough.

I used to defend Islam all the time in public forums - all the time. Then, about a year ago, I actually read some things which I found disconcerting. I read some more - and then still more.

So I'm arguing from a position of knowledge - which alas you are not.

Over 90% of terrorism is ISLAMIC terrorism.

If you can't see what that means, it's because you 'aint looking properly.

You also ought to look at the sheer number of concessions that Muslims in Europe are demanding - and GETTING. Muslims should have *equal* rights with other faiths - NOT SPECIAL RIGHTS.

You've totally missed the point, I'm afraid. Yes, there is violence in the Jewish Tanakh and Christian New Testament. But Jews and Christians TODAY do NOT cause bloodshed and carnage across the globe in the name OF their faiths.

And we don't agree with slavery *today*, as you have presumably noticed...? Back when those scriptures were written, slavery was a common practice.

The Jewish and Christian scriptures describe violence that is directed against *specific* people, at *specific* times. Neither of them insist that ALL NON BELIEVERS must be killed, forever more!

But the Quran does - and sadly, millions of Muslims take that literally. Not all Muslims, of course not. But even if it's a minority of Muslims, that is still a huge, huge number.

If you really want to know the profound differences between Islam, and the other two Abrahamic faiths, then here is a great piece which will explain it - assuming you are open minded enough to want *facts*...?

Ask yourself this:

If there is NO problem intrinsic to Islam, then WHY are ALL Muslim countries theocracies where:
- Women have no rights
- non Muslims have no rights
- terrorism is a daily occurrence

For goodness sake, there are plenty of Muslims themselves who will agree with what I've just stated!

Islam is a problematic ideology. Just as the ideology of the KKK or the Nazis was.

And no, this is not 'paranoia' - go and check out the DAILY terrorist atrocities happening IN the name of Islam.
