Lucky you... The stupid part is that I never learned my lesson. The Cap 'N would trick me time and time again... I wouldn't eat it for a while due to the shredding, then I'd think, "Hmm, why don't I eat that anymore." So I'd grab a box...and it all came back to me.

I'm going to dare say, that this is probably my favorite list you've made to date. I think out of the 11 books that you've talked about, I've read 9 of them. It deeply annoys me to the core that people only see certain words (see "nigger") at face value and are quick to do away with it for fear of upsetting people, without actually knowing in what context it was supposed to be used. If people would just understand how ignorant and close minded they were being (both those who are offended AND those who don't want to DO the offending), maybe we'd actually get to read some very good, thought provoking literary works. Hmph.
