We don't really have those cliques in Canada either. I mean there's some division but groups generally cross over into one big incestuous mess.

You know, barns burn down from matches too; It doesn't have to be a once in a lifetime experience.

My family is Mennonite background, though my father dissented and left the order, and the old orders all spoke Pennsylvania Dutch. It is nearly impossible to understand, and I speak some German. I can understand that the Old Orders would be nearly unintelligible, especially without coffee, but I'm guessing their conversations went something like this:

"Barn's burnt down."

"Yup."

"Gotta build another."

"Yup."

"It was the Lord's Will."
