The "China Nightmare" in Delhi has reached such a height that nobody even bothered to find how many dollars China invested in Chittagong Port. It remains to be seen how India can even come close to the Chinese investment, trade and military cooperation in Bangladesh. The potential of Bangladesh as an emerging power with extremely resilient economy will always be a matter of concern for India as Bangladesh will eventually look to secure her interests in the Bay of Bengal and eastern Indian Subcontinent, regardless of whether she is under Chinese influence or not. And the Indian reactions emanating from such concerns would always be seen as aggressive postures by Bangladeshi citizens.

এর আগের বিএনএস সমুদ্র জয় জাহাজটি আমেরিকা আমাদের গিফট হিসেবে দিয়েছিল। আমরা শুধু জাহাজের রিপেয়ার, ক্রু ট্রেনিং এবং ট্রান্সফারের জন্য ৮ মিলিয়ন ডলার দিয়েছিলাম।

the news about corvettes probably needs a bit more clarity.... the two Type 056 corvettes' construction in China started in January 2013, and all previous reports (including the ones related to this naval exercise published in other newspapers) indicated that the ships are likely to be delivered in 2015, thereby taking around 3 years for the construction..... the two ships to be built in Bangladesh haven't started as yet.... so, 4 ships being delivered in 2014 seems a little ambitious.... these corvettes would be some of the most important units of BN, so, a bit of clarity about them probably is a logical demand.... thank you.

বস, আপনের একটা ছবি আমার পিসি-র ডেস্কটপে ওয়ালপেপার প্রোগ্রামে শো করে। আমার মেয়ে আপনেরে খুব ভালোভাবে চিনে ওই ছবি থিকা। ছবিটা টিটিএল-এর পোস্টার ওয়াকের সময় তোলা। হয়তো মনে করতে পারবেন।

মানুষ মাত্রই ভুল করবে। সেটাই স্বাভাবিক। আর মানুষের ভুল হয় বলেই ডিআরএস। ডিআরএস থাকলেই তো সবাই নিশ্চিন্তে থাকতে পারে। আম্পায়ারের ভুলও কমে যায়; খেলোয়ারেরাও বাজে কিছু বলে বা আম্পায়ারকে। ডিআরএস ব্যবহার না করার কি কি যুক্তি ছিল সেটা বিসিবি বলবেন কি?

Mathews was expecting a world record chase from us?? He should remember that in 2008 Bangladesh chased 521 against SL in Dhaka and ended up scoring 413 runs from 126.2 overs. That was the 12th highest 4th innings total in Test match history. Even SL's highest 4th innings total is 410 against Australia, in which they also lost. SL made a coward of themselves by setting 467 as target!
