never mind im all good now, i downloaded another 3.0 firmware, another redsn0w, and then i only clicked on having cydia instead of both

I'm getting worried, I downloaded a different 3.0 firmware and i still can't get the cydia update or even install anything. It is always a different error. With 2.2.1 I never had these problems. Should I now try a different redsn0w? Maybe that'll work

but here is an error i get when trying to upgrade cydia

evry time i try to update cydia or install something iteither says size mismatch or it cant find something, it wont even let me install all sources

ok i restored and rejailbroke but now just after it was done with the pineapple sign it turned off. and it will not turn on, at all. FML

Hey does anyone have an idea about when I download an app from installulous and after I have downloaded it and installed it it does not show up on the home screen? Does anyone have any Idea what is going on?

hey my question is when you installed installulous did it keep saying you neeeded to upgrade it after i have already done it a gazillion times? and what does size mismatch mean when im trying to install mobile installation patch 2.2.1 so i can put cracked apps on my ipod?

well that happened to me so i downloaded restore firmware 2.2.1 and restored it so it wasn't jailbrocken then did it and everything worked, including logome. but my problem now is i keep trying to install the installulous things like the mobile firmware patch and installulous but installulous keeps saying it needs to be upgraded and the mobile firmware patch wont install because it says size mismatch

yeah
its frustrating. well it has to be .3 because i press the redsn0w and it says the whole numbers and waiting when you need help with dfu mode. and yeah its wayyydifferent than any other terminal jailbreaks

no just try and tether boot my ipod. just run the reboot commands and see what happens. but unsucessful

well i tried booting it like you booted the tethered version no luck. im just going to keep redoing it until the actual redsn0w comes out just for shits and giggles. cause i can live without a jailbreak for a week or 2. its fun just to watch it though

i cant get any of the utorrent stuff to work sorry. i got the DFU walk through thing to wrk but i just cant get past the booting part. hey. would it work if i reput it into dfu mode and did the old commands to boot it like you had to when you had the tethered jailbreak? i think that'll work. im gonna try it.

and 1 more question. how do you do the DFU thing in the redsn0w itself? and one more thing, is doing the whole thing all in terminal or is it a program that im missing out on too.
because it just keeps booting but flashes and then keeps booting. otherwise everything else goes just fine.

yeah the harddrive thing shows up but after it is done with that it does the booting stage and it just sits. and i got it from a different site. i have a mac and when i get it from www.redsn0w.com it ends up comming in a torrent and i dont know what to do with torrents. they just come up as a different type of file that i cant use. so i just downloaded it as a mirror and it just downloaded a folder
