You obviously didn't listen very well to the news cast either, they even stated the gun wasn't loaded. Either way, the news has been on the side of the kids, makes for a better story doesn't it? You're intrigued... Just know this, he is a good person who has had things blown way out of proportion and him and his family are now having to deal with people like you who just assume you know what took place and take the news report to be completely true and accurate.

I know Mr. Yax personally and he is not an idiot. He is a very nice family man. This whole thing has been blown way out of proportion. You should know the news tries to make things more interesting, they do need their ratings after all. Don't put so much faith into what the media reports, they are not always right. What was reported was not exactly what happened...

The mother needs the help of... Super Nanny! : ) I like the idea of tazing children, set them straight! Kids these days are just out of control. No manners, no respect, and certainly no discipline! I am a young person with no children (thank God) but I see the kids of today and it frightens me and makes me not want to have any of my own!

Disputed show may return to airwaves
Sources: 'Todd and Don Show' to be reinstated

AUSTIN (KXAN) - A group of Austin Hispanic leaders called an emergency meeting Thursday afternoon after they allegedly heard from the general manager of KLBJ-AM that the controversial 'Todd and Don Show' will been reinstated.
Two sources within the Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce said general manager Scott Gillmore told them the show would return to KLBJ-AM's airwaves on Monday.
"You know more than I do," said KLBJ News Director Todd Jeffries, former co-host of the show. Jeffries was re-instated to on-air duty, while his co-host Don Pryor has not returned to the airwaves.
The show was pulled earlier this year after Pryor made several references to a word many consider derogatory toward Hispanics. Co-host Jeffries, tried to keep Pryor from repeating the word over and over again to no avail.
The US Hispanic Contractors Association called for the show to be removed from the airwaves after the broadcast. They were successful in getting the show pulled, and Pryor was given 'off-air' responsibilities.
When contacted Thursday, Gillmore said the announcement had not yet been made regarding the Todd and Don Show.
"If it's true and a decision has been made, we'll send out a press statement," Gillmore said in a telephone interview Thursday afternoon.

Let me just say it again, bring back the T and D!! Kenny sucks and Lisa doesn't let anyone speak! Let Todd and Don come back, at least they know how a radio talk show is supposed to operate.

Why did I keep KLBJ on during the ten o'clock hour. I am getting so frustrated with Lisa. She wont let the men talk!! She only wants to hear womens sob stories!! Ugh!! I am a woman and I feel that men should be involved in their childrens lives even after a divorce, but if they don't, then as the mother you need to do anything and everything to take care of your children. I understand trying to hold the father accountable, but geesh whatever happened to being self sufficient even when you are married so that way if anything should happen, God forbid, whether it be they leave you, you leave them, they pass away or whatever you can still hold your own and care for your children!!! People need to quit being so helpless and take care of their shit without expecting help from others!

No, a lot of us are streaming other stations, we would just like to stay tuned in to KLBJ that is why we keep asking for The T and D to be brought back. If you haven't noticed all the people who have been tried in the ten o'clock slot just do not compare!

How many people are they going to try in the ten o'clock spot before they realize we don't want anyone other than Todd and Don in that slot??!! Bring them back KLBJ!! The ten o'clock hour sucks without them!!
