I can tell you for sure that real estate in Austin, Texas is going very well. Many people want to buy a home here and I advise them to do that. But in the end, there are other factors that come into my mind: if the place is close to friends and family, the distance between present home and future home, climate... and many others that are less important.

I don't think that the current real estate market is very good for investing if you want to resell fast. 30-60 days might not be that easy to go for. I think you need to think long term now if you are going to invest in the real estate market. The fact is that the market is moving very slow now, but it is getting back on its feet.

This gap between rich people and poor people has become a global problem. If the gap will grow even further, well, a global crisis will strike again and there could be little chance of recovery from that. Let's not forget that the cash flow is kept alive by the majority and the majority is poor.

I find it very odd that Obama is a "devoted" muslim, but he supports the continuation of the Irak war, where the Americans fight against Muslim people. Maybe it's just me being to worried about that, but in my opinion, this is a good question.

Tucson homes are very popular and although the price has increased in the last month, this happened becuse of global crisis that seems to have started to move away. The real estate market has started to increase and that why prices have gone up a little.

This is indeed sad news for Tucson employees but for other people that are loyal to the newspaper. It seems that the global crisis affects more and more people and even newspapers. I really hope for the best and hope that the newspaper will find a buyer which can save the entire business.

I can tell you what desperate people do right now:sell and rent back. The global crisis has hit many people because they got sacked and no money means no mortgage pays. They prefered to sell the house and rent it back from the person they sold to. Some persons do that as a long term investment and helping others meanwhile.
