A tea party to be exact and am overjoyed that I went. It was invigorating and did wonders from being depressed over this whole battle called the National Animal Identification System. I wasn't going to go, but the other day listening to talk radio. The radio host spoke about the 2nd set of homeland security papers that came out calling Americans, extremists. Right wing extremist who believe in freedom, Right wing extremists who believe in the constitution, the very people who made the call to serve and protect our shores against all enemies, foreign and domestic were included.

My decision to attend then became very easy. How can one fight against the National Animal Identification System and not attend? I imagine Homeland Security envisioned that our founding
fathers, George Washington and all the other brave men and women who fought for all our freedoms were also considered right wing extremists.

Who and what are these people in the Homeland Security? Do
they not live in America? Are they legal citizens who live in the land of opportunity? I decided then not to swing a tea bag as I would surely be called a right wing extremist.

What I did notice, not one police officer or state trooper was any where near the 'Party'. What a shame they might have learned what Americans are all about instead of hearing dribble from homeland security. How terribly sad that one of our governmental departments considers "We The People" right wing.

They had many local speakers, a radio talk show host, Eddie Burke, and a surprise guest arrived. Congressman Don Young who spoke briefly. I was very moved by what Eddie Burke said, you could hear the tears and disgust in his voice. When they played Lee Greenwood's song, God Bless America, the tears came to my eyes. I looked around and I was not the only one to feel raped
and deserted by the very government that we voted in. Those are
the right wing extremists. A sign that other Americans as I, seeing our constitution being dismantled from within. The very government that is suppose to protect the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic is protecting the real illegal extremists who are crossing our borders freely.

One speaker got up and said, "He was watching tv, a smoking commercial to be exact, and it dawned on him on how these commercials are dividing America right down the middle. The division is on smoking or non smoking, on what party you belong to, pro life or pro abortion, race, religion, fat, skinning, and any thing else you would like to add to this list. We are all
Americans who believe in the constitution, in freedom, having liberties that so many don't. We are not the ones who are trying to escape from America we are the ones who are fighting to save America. We must not stop what we are doing, we must go after congress with full force and not let up.

Today was a day of honor to stand by my neighbors, the war heroes, the fathers, the mothers, the grandmothers, the grandfathers and the future generations. I am proud to be an American and I will not apologize for my right wing beliefs and I will wear the label that Home Land Security placed on my left arm proudly.
