Well I didn't quite get my Christmas wish, (IU beating UK), I guess I'll have to settle for a TV, dang. I have to admit though, I found myself getting excited during the second half. Obviously I knew we wouldn't win, but it is fun to see these guys trying so hard. Roth's range is unbelievable. He needs to play more. Anyway, Go Hoosiers!

That is ridiculous. I have to say though, while I like the idea of the Live Blog, I've been to it the past 3 or 4 games or whatever, that last night it made me mad. On multiple occasions I was trying to ask questions or make comments about the game, and it wouldn't show up. But things concerning Dumes "frohawk" were showing up constantly. If legitimate questions/comments about the game aren't going to show up and useless ones are, then there really is no reason to use it.

Great post Eamonn. I just wanted to say how awesome it is to come to this blog after a 25 pt beat down and see nothing but positive thoughts from everyone. Living in Louisville, I have to deal with these crazy Kentucky and Louisville fans who think their teams are sent from God himself every day. There are hardly any Hoosier fans here, so this website is my haven. Thanks everyone.

Has Watford actually signed a LOI yet? Was just clicking on all the '09 commits on the right, and according to rivals Watford is the only one yet to sign a LOI. Is this just a mistake or are we still waiting? Thanks!

I am going to have to lean towards it potentially being better for kids recruited at this age. If the coach that is recruiting the player is a good coach/person, than the coach and the kid have, in this instance, four years to develop a relationship before he even gets to college. The coach can then help tell the player things he wants him to work on and practice. The coach would be able to check in and make sure the kid is keeping up with his school work and also staying out of trouble.

Now I could be naive, but I like to think most Coaches are willing to put that extra time in a recruit, especially if they are recruiting them at such a young age. However I can also see it taking a huge turn for the worse, but overall I am giving the positives outweighing the bad.

Billy Clyde? The Kentucky coach coming to Indiana? That just sounds ugly, not to mention, living in Louisville, all I hear about is all the stuff Gillispie "supposedly" gets himself in to. For instance, I've heard multiple accounts of being pulled over driving under the influence, not to mention some garbage about hookers. I know these are just rumors, but rumors usually have some basis of truth. He is a great coach, but the fact that he is the Kentucky coach, crippled with the rumors, is too much to consider.

I am a student at UofL right now, but grew up in Indiana and have been a Hoosier fan my whole life, and Pitino is not the guy we need. He is definitely a great coach, but is just money hungry and wants to retire in the near future (like 6-7 years). I thought the consensus was that we needed a young and up-and-coming coach, what happened?
