she is weak, but it's the norm. most people don't want to have to butcher preys for food. having it nicely packaged in a marketed wrap feels better. they don't have to think about how it was made.

also having to actually kill someone, even a really bad person, is very traumatic to the vast majority. it's a massive step to overcome psychologically. especially in today's civilization where every life is highly valued.

One of the two would have to die anyway. Losing your gift would mean death anyway in the coming games once the tutorial is done.
Sae-Ah is too kind though. sparing the one that tried to kill her without any consequences. even interfering with her uncle, distracting him in the middle of the fight... MC needs to have a serious talk with her. When the real matches come, she will need to get her act together.
