You should include drinks. A couple of beers or a glass of whiskey will have effect on blood sugar. Same for a soft drink.

Coffee will also spike your blood sugar. And since most people drink coffee in stressful environments (work, meetings or just drinking coffee because you lacked sleep) it will also impact your blood sugar. There will also be a blood sugar crash a few hours after.

The only drink that can help for blood sugar is green tea (or plain water). But it's not like a cup of green tea will counter the consequences of an ice cream bowl or pizza slice. In short, unless it's "plain", don't have any drinks :-)

What would be interesting is this X5S camera on a grip capable of recording raw or prores footage. A bit like the GoPro grip but with solid memory inside. And perhaps a way to mount an iPhone on the side as a monitor.

On paper the FS7 has much better specs than C300 or C100. However i find the Sonys lacking in color and ergonomics.

Get the Canon C300 II with the 28-300mm L lens and your choice of microphone. The 28-300mm has all the range needed plus image stabilization.

You can add a 35mn f2 IS for low light and interviews, if you want. Very lovely and reliable lens

The C100 can also be a good fit, in 90% of the situations. It depends if you want an edge over other shooters

I do not think it's the case.

Most often, an athlete who is hardworking, who shows ambition, and is socially approachable, is able to get the funding.

Crowdfunding platforms like MAKECHAMP.com can be a solution, to both Canadians who want to make a difference, and athletes looking for support. Moreoever the future of these athletes doesn’t depend on a committee of a few people but rather the unanimous support of the crowd. Through social media and public discussion, the public can share information about the campaign and perform due diligence

Consequently, I believe crowdfunding can be a strong solution to funding problems in ski racing.
