Seemed like weird timing to me, even though the fireworks were pretty cool. Just as the city goes dark to celebrate Earth Hour, someone's down on the waterfront blowing things up and creating all kinds of pollution.

Mulleady's does that every St. Patrick's Day. My guess is the kitchen just can't keep up with the amount of silverware and plates being used on such a busy day.

Nothing humane about leg traps. This is truly awful. I am just sick reading this. It's our (humans) fault for encroaching on wild animals' territory, and now we're going to shoot them for doing what comes naturally? I am ashamed of the human race right now.

Ok, maybe I'm naive...but how in the heck could you possibly get away with this? Depositing a check that large, into an account that 's under a different name than to whom the check was written? And the bank isn't the one that busted this guy? That explains a lot about banks these days. Sheesh!

We were in Bartell's a couple weeks ago, and two boys actually lit a firecracker INSIDE THE STORE. It was so loud. There were lots of little kids and elderly people around at that time, and a lot of them looked pretty upset. Just about scared me right out of my shoes.

Ran into them at Albertson's about 10 minutes later and they looked like they were scoping out an aisle to light another one in. My husband told them he saw what they did at Bartell's and they high-tailed it out of there after that.
