And this sounds obvious, but I see it time and again. . . If you offer an incentive, do not give the incentive on the go activate page. Either send the incentive in an automated follow-up OR redirect them to the incentive after clicking the activate button.

I wonder if that study takes into account that many Catholics have their first sip at 7 or 8 years old or is our Communal wine somehow exempt? I do let the kids use fancy glassware on fancy occasions with sparkling grape juice. We talk about why adults drink and what is responsible and what is not. Generally though they aren't very interested in anything but the fanciness and the glassware satisfies that.

Just remember if you use a caching plugin to ensure your feeds are exempt. Cached feeds can wreak havoc with RSS to email services.

To add to this, do not delete your FeedBurner feed as that allows someone else to step in and claim your extension. Your subs that didn't move their subscription likely won't notice that the feed has gone quiet, until one day someone steps into your old extension with something exciting like adult content or pill shilling. I've seen it happen many times.

For starters, Amy, hang in there. People like to pass on blame wherever they can. It was not your fault. You were not operating a vehicle, even if you HAD been parked illegally that's all you would have been guilty of.

Secondly, re: leaving the kids in the car. It's only in the last fifteen years or so that parents started bringing their kids in every dang place they go. I know my sisters and I spent time in the car while our mom ran into the store for something quick -obviously not a big shopping, but a we just need milk. Society hasn't changed much, the crime rate against children has dropped, our awareness of it has grown. . . Nothing makes me more irritated than when I hear "Nowadays you can't be too careful." Now the only reason you can't be too careful is because you'll be publicly crucified if there is a hint that maybe,possibly you could have possibly done something more or different. You can't eliminate risk from life, you can make yourself and everyone around you miserable trying too hard to minimize it.

We were rear ended last month, at a fairly high rate of speed. I was in the car. My being in the car did not cause or save my kids from harm. Having been in the parked car would not have caused or saved your children from any harm IF something had happened.

There are always what ifs. What if you had taken the kids into a convenience store and it was robbed? You made a reasonable choice as a parent. No one was hurt. Life goes on. poo te weet

Gall bladder problems can happen to anyone. They like to call it a 3F disease, but that's rather misleading (fat, female, forty). I had mine out after my third pregnancy. I only had one F, which caused them to take a long time to find the issue. Hang in there, Robyn, we're pulling for you and I'm so very glad you have found a doctor you trust.

How do you handle the added headache of remembering to initial everything or is the onus on the child? I'm already drowning in the micro-managing that is three children with homework folders & school planners.

We don't have cable or access to broadcast tv. If they haven't heard of it today, I'm not going to talk to them about it until Sunday afternoon. I'll give them one more full day of innocence. (If they were older it'd be different, but they are in elementary school, I can shelter them a little)
