One of the worst takes I have ever seen.
1. GW is selling MONO pose kits at higher prices then BANDAI sells a MG Gundam kit. The price of a land raider was 50 US dollars in 2008. A regular landraider is 85 now and a crusader is 110. Neither of those models has changed in 10 years and the crusader definitely does not have 50 dollars in plastic in that box. GW has been pricing themselves out of the gaming market on their own since about 2010

2. Next rules. GW had 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th were the rules were IMO complete garbage. 9th has been better. But there is a reason people moved from GW to WARMAHORDES until 3rd edition. Most of the time people DO NOT WANT TO BUY a model and have it be completely outclassed by another model in a few months. The speed at which GW power creep moves is a major issue.

3. You mention GW stores? Most of the GW stores now dont have room for more than 2 tables and DEFINITLY dont have tournaments or any reason to come in other than getting the newest model guaranteed on launchday if you preordered it

4. GW is horrible at promoting their own games 1/2 the time. I live in Florida - we have the LARGEST community of blood bowl players in the US. Most GW stores have ZERO blood bowl models. I see more Blood bowl models in Barnes and Noble. The NAF has done more for Blood bowl than GW ever has.

In short, GW is their own worst enemy. Lower the prices (so 3rd party models arent necessary), Make better rules (balance the game and stop the power creep for a few years), give us a place to play, and promote all of your own games.

Speaking as a DE player that hated Crons in 4th, the simplest way to make crons better is to give them a lot of their 4th edition rules and stats back.

For those of you unaware, warriors used to be a 3+ save and all crons had 4+ get back up.

they also generally had 4 veils on the board in the form of 1 veil and 3 monoliths that would pull crons out of CC when you didnt wipe them (you didnt in 4th, the changes to morale in 5th is what killed them) and they would shooth the crap out of your unit sitting in the open.

They were a scary army, Now, not so much.

it is a facebook group called feminist 40k (or something similar)

The writer was writing a letter calling for diversity in the body types and ethnicity of the new minis (that have been done for years). She didnt want boob plate (where celestine and her bffs show exactly what you are getting)

The one thing she said that shows she is a real 40k player was that she wants her codex to be playable and solid (every time i say that I mean OP as hell)

Okay 1st, I believe it was hastings that said 4 years ago that Sisters designs were mostly done but they were having problems with the robes in the CAD. Obviously that issue has been sorted as more multi piece models have come out.

2nd, Im pretty sure you see what you are getting with Celestine and her 2 BFFs.

3rd this is a complete trolling on the feminist 40k list that was published the other day. To be fair, her list kind of deserved it. In the far future, the larger slower sisters get eaten by tyranids..

hoping they do something similar with Dark Eldar. Complicated is not bad, it is supposed to be an advanced army. Over costed (5th, 7th, and the index are over costed all around compared to their editions) to make it difficult is dumb.

That said, i expect a point drop instead of power increase.

There is already more than a few "smaller" blood bowl games that the NAF are responsible for.

Street Bowl and 7s. I want GW to make models but keep their hands off of the rules. BB is as close to perfect as a game can get.

I remember when wyches scared people in 4th edition :p I could roll that 12 inch assault drug and be in your lines turn 1.

The problem for DE is that GW hasnt realized that we are not in 4th edition yet and there is more shooting in 1 turn of 8th (since 6th) then an entire game of 5th. the T3 Armor save 6 armies arent going to survive that.

heres hoping splintermind isnt blowing smoke when they say the dex is good

they need 3.5 wych weapons back. Reduce WS when being attacked (in 8ths case, +1 to be hit, maybe plus 2 for blood brides). They need blasters back so they can be their own army and most of all they need something to prevent over watch.
