The fountain area is being replaced by the gathering place with quick-style eateries such as coffee, yogurt, cupcakes and the new restaurant area upstairs.

We know of no plans for a new fountain.

the public school system in solana beach receives approximately 8500 per child. taxpayers, childless or otherwise, pay this tab. i live in sb. i paid this. i also paid for private schools. that dollar amount was less. my kids received a premium education. i say to this organization who handed the school district 1.2 million dollars (per their report) to "make it work". and quit hitting up people that have already been taxed (sorry for the pun) by the current recession.

Payment to the meters on Coast Boulevard (pictured) is enforced between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. There is no charge for parking at the meters along 15th Street after 6 p.m.
