Very SPECIFIC with his leanings . Very much wanting the American people to know him well....unafraid to answer in depth ea. & every question....which shows the utmost respect for every American's judgment, when given all the facts. Appears to be an awesomely open, caring, humble and intelligent man whose confidence and gift for speaking his true views draws many to his side!
I am extremely saddened that McCain has chosen NOT to air to the public his views on these issues, preventing the American people the opportunity to judge his future probable decision-making roles concerning these issues that may arise as Pres. This shows, I feel, that McCain would rather try to win the election more solely on his popularity as a POW & on his PAST Congressional experience ....because he is afraid to let the American people truly know his CURRENT stands on these questions that are so very important to many Americans!
Furthermore, I feel that the least well the Republican candidate is thoroughly known by the public, the least well they can make an intelligent choice for Pres. The sad fact is that the popularity "Good Guy" aura has in the past allowed the most UNWISE man to be elected to the Presidency.....and I greatly fear another fauxpaux by the American people if the public chooses this man solely on his past honorableness and overlooks the lack of full openness currently with the American public . (Why would he want to hide his stands on these issues from the public? It seems that this may be a "Maverick"'s strategy to avoid clearly stating some of his views on these issues so that he can be more free to switch his stands at any time to the views that will win him the most votes). He knows that his views on these issues not clearly stated cannot clearly be criticized later. Although his heroism as a soldier is honorable, hiding his views stated in this forum does not seem honorable to me.
I pray that the American people will vote , this time, not for the most popular "Good Guy"....& 10 % of the time D.C."Maverick" who is afraid to air in specificity his true current standings on these issues....but instead that they will honor the most well-informed, highly intelligent, humble, open to the public with his stands on every issue, capable, and honest man to be elected to the U.S. Presidency to START THAT DIFFICULT CLIMB BACK TO RESTORE our country's domestic and worldwide respect, stability, and security....& to work together with both parties' reps (to help guide them all to make the sacrifices & changes across party lines that are so much needed to deal with the crises our country faces at this dire time in history).
