If I'm asked to hold a purse, I take it, then set it on the ground/floor near me until she gets back. I do NOT hold it. If the strap is long enough, I might put my foot in it to prevent thievery, but that's the closest I get to holding the damn thing.

I'm confident enough to know that no one can take her from me. They've tried before, and I just grin & shake my head at their sorry attempts, and go back to drinking my beer. Fighthing? why bother? Just ruins your day/night/weekend.

To those of you that just want to attack: Go away, you just make yourselves look stupid.

As for everyone else, we can't help it if young 20somethings are attracted to us 40+ yr olds because we don't act like 95% of the rest of you guys (read: wusses, mr nice guy, etc...)

If payment is made in beer, it's got to be good beer. And if the amount of money owed is a lot, then quality of the beer has to be better. Low $$ = Miller/Bud Lite, and High $$ = Belgian/Belgian style or German bock or dopplebock.

Just pointing out spelling errors from another boss-type. Managers/Bosses are the worst spellers. I hope your company memos are proof-read before being distributed, especially anything going to customers.

This one really depends on the situation. If your boss has been pissing you off enough to where you reach that point, then a big F YOU is definitely in order. If it's just to go to a better job, then a simple resignation will do. Don't burn any bridges you might have to come back across.
