Disqus can be a little buggy sometimes. Try this for commenting on your own post: Instead of viewing your post in Dashboard mode, click on your own Tumblr icon. That will take you to http://gailamartin.com/ and from there you should be able to click on the View Comments link of your post and then comment on it.
