The RED bar represents throwing power, which goes up and down. Each throw resets it. The BLUE bar is health. Getting hit by any weapon reduces it - even your own.

The controls are as follows in "part two":
P1: Q, W and E throws weapons (left, up and right), while A and D moves left/right.
P2: U, I and O throws weapons, while J and L moves left/right.

And, as always, while all tricks are allowed in love and war, Player 2 should avoid exploiting the fact that Player 1's left-throw damages herself.

// Emil

Re: Demons, Angels and the In-between, Part 1

And part two is hereby up! http://gnub.com/2012/08/dem...

Re: Gamification: Challenge Accepted!

I actually left out a rather major part, by not making it obvious that lecturers (or course administrators, etc.) could always make posts outside of lecture-times to give informations with, say, examination times. Simple reason being to open up for course evaluation at any given time - just as evaluation lectures should happen when things are happening, so should evaluating the course.

Re: Last orders for Fringe?

Here's to hoping for a 5th season - there still seems to be plenty of story-lines that can be taken a closer look at.

Re: Your photos, simplified (Part 1)

Looking forward to getting the iOS version - will be a very nifty addition! :)

Re: Turnering: Tyrian (To-spiller)

Grundet manglende interesse er denne turnering indtil videre aflyst. :<

Re: Turnering: Tyrian (To-spiller)

Tilmeldinger er begyndt: send en mail til tyriandikulan@gmail.com med følgende indhold:

Spiller 1: pladsnummer|navn
Spiller 2: pladsnummer|navn

Turneringen begynder i aften efter 21:00.

Re: gwardar

Minor show-casing, which I uploaded recently, can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: pathfinding

I plan on doing this blog-series at some point, but I will probably combine it with the (re-)production of Gwardar, or another game-project. Again, that is considering the same combat rating formula is used - which I can't really see why it shouldn't.

As a comparison, the conversion ratio is 8, 10 and 14 for (spell)hit, haste and crit, respectfully. Not using a percentage system would be stupid (bordering retarded), if it takes that many rating points to reach "1 point".

Re: mmos and time-lines

I see you posted it there. Just logged in and checked, and I was at least not able to change my name. Pity, I didn't input my middle-name. Not too bad I guess.

Anyway, in case one of "the bad people" befriends one of your friends, they'd have to know your real name regardless, to tell that you're you. Otherwise you're just one amongst others on a list of names.

However, if he intentionally befriended a friend of yours, in order to see your name, he probably already knew it. Unless - of course - that friend of yours only had you as a friend.

I guess we'll just have to see how it turns out.

Re: Real ID: Dear Readers, Please Don't.

Now that I think about it - how can they even make sure you type in your REAL name? There's not really a way to confirm it, is there? Never seen any at least.

As comparison, you can change your name on Facebook to ... pretty much whatever you like. That it matches your ACTUAL real name just makes it easier for people to find you - which most likely mean you want to be found.

So, my best guess is that, if you REALLY don't want to give your REAL name - you can just write your nick as that real name, or be "John Doe" - who could ever really confirm it?

Re: Real ID: Dear Readers, Please Don't.

Haven really given it any real thought yet. I have no problem that people know my real name. If I (mutually) add them to my friendlist, they know who I am as well.

To everyone else, I'm just a name. They don't necessarily know WHO that name is.

The worries seem a bit too paranoid to me really.

Re: gnueless

Indeed, it was perhaps a bit too obvious, but it matched the story to well :)

Re: a bitea of luck

Hahaha - indeed, beer isn't good either (for a computer, that is) :D

Re: SC2: Moving up the ladder

I was thinking the exact same.
