There's a fine line between good natured banter and just being a miserable asshole. Trust me, I know. Who cares if his reasons don't line up with yours, it his choice. Be happy he wants to give MLS a chance because there are PLENTY of soccer fans in the US that don't.

Salazar Slytherin and the rest of the MLS officials biggest problem is a chronic inability to demonstrate any consistency. Every game is a polar opposite of the last and in many matches, the two halves are called entirely differently. Is it too much to demand some *&@^@%! consistency?

Because he's easily the best US soccer player of his generation, and may end up being the best ever. We want to see him play on the biggest stage and help continue to grow respect for American players abroad. Plus it's nice to see a player who developed in MLS kicking butt in the EPL.

The US was playing well before the red card and there is no reason to believe they couldn't have gotten a result out of that match. That said, the real disappointment with the red card for me is it gives American fans an excuse to look past other issues with the team and blame everything on the referee.
