Struggling with this. For the ParmFarm it's 'Stop by. Grow' --- my blog is about personal and professional growth. But some people think it's about farming. :0( More importantly...focusing now on my 'Give-a-Listen' interview series. Where each interview benefits my GUEST'S non-profit of choice.

The Give-a-Listen Network: Raising the media bar to include social responsibility.

Rick -- You know, the truth is...I already love what I've got. Stop by. Grow. The problem was that I had a farm scene as the backdrop on my header. So, I took that off... and did some other design changes. Hopefully that will make a difference. I could knock yourself out trying to get it right!

Maybe I'll change it again in the future (probably) but for now I'm just going to sit with it and work on other improvements! Thanks for your suggestions nonetheless...

@Susan .... Balance. That's the key. But, as you say, so hard to find. And, especially now with an entire library and social community at our finger tips 24/7. I'm surprised anyone gets anything done! But we'll keep trying....

Also -- I have a suggestion. Something I am going to try for the ParmFarm. Why don't you do a video version of your 'about' page. or at least a video to supplement your about page. You're good at the video thing and I think it would be even more engaging than just copy!

I hope to get mine posted by the end of the week. (yikes...did I just set a deadline for myself??)

I'm pretty digital -- but I LOVE craigslist.

That said, I like your question about my audience/customer. I am always trying to balance my thinking - which is more digital and social media oriented - with their thinking...so I can find the right ratio of sharing things that we BOTH would find interesting.
