It now leaves the door or opportunity open to others, to produce the FS ENGINE, that will power the next generation of addons from the addon developers.

FSX is "Old technology" and a new Modern FS, developed by a team of DYNAMIC, forward thinking Professionals, now has a far better chance of success, than anything an aging "old school" company can produce.

Microsoft, with it's enormous overheads, and massive managment structure, and SHAREHOLDERS, has to make massive profits on any product, just to continue to exist. Lean, mean, HUNGRY addon developers, can make a far better product, at far less expense.

So, I am extremely EXCITED about the future of Flight Simulation ( Both in the public consumer market, and the Commercail & Military arena).

If one takes one head out of MSFS, and looks around at the evolving technologies, the future for FS is very promissing. MSFS and X-Plane were a stepping stone to where we are now... and now is a good time to move on to the next generation of FS Product, created and SUPPORTED by a new generation of professional developer.
