what i'm actually referring to was sandler in his early days was making movies with quality, depth and emotion.. not just making himself look silly and be the laughing stock of everyone. he knew what funny was.. and he was out there thinking out of the box with such diverse roles in mind. now he's just thinking how am i supposed to get laid at this time and age.

though it pains me but you're absolutely right dude.. i think the characters were a bit bland and could use a little more depth plus the music was not as strong as they used to be.. i mean they are catchy but it's somewhat missing some of the old disney magic. overall its above average i guess but not outstanding like the critic claims ;D
