Owning horses is a totally different game than baseball. In my mind its not that hard to argue you can money whip baseball e.g. have a 500 mm payroll or whatever the yanks is. But with horse racing its almost impossible to money whip. Sheik Mohammed has spend over a billion dollars on horses and still hasn't finished better than fifth in the Ky. Derby.

Its interesting that the min. investment for that fund is 25 mm. Its interesting that 7.5 million of 6 billion is 1/8th of 1% of their assets haha i mean in those regards even if you double ur money your not really making a significant PnL impact.

There is always the theory that a large quant fund was short a ton of VIX call's and had to start covering but at the end of the day nobody will really know what it was. I doubt a committee will come up anything.

As soon as things started going ape shit they started raising margin requirements across the board. At think or swim margin requirements went up 50% I NEED MY SUPER LEVERAGE lol.
