Majmag I am a victim and sometimes survivor and now a "creditor" in this action. I am not affiliated with any group. I was repeatedly sexually abused in very sick and horrid ways by a priest as an altar boy in Milwaukee. I planned on keeping this secret for ever. When Listecki asked people abused by the Archdiocese to come forward for healing and resolution, I thought it might be an opportunity for me to deal with an issue that was painful and caused lifelong problems because of this very dark and humiliating experience. I did research on what Listecki and Dolan had to say about this issue. Transparency, forgiveness, etc. Listecki said "nothing will prevent him from making every possible effort at moving forward toward healing and resolution with those who have been harmed."
You speak of justice and use "victims" in ""? With very little research you will find the basic reason most of the abuse has happened and why the church finds itself in bankruptcy court. THE HIERARCHY HAS SELF JUSTIFIED HORRIBLE ACTS TO PROTECT THE "HIGHER GOOD" defined as THEIR OWN AND THE CHURCHES IMAGE. (corruption and arrogance) Wisconsin, because of case law(Pritzloff) made the AD almost civilly untouchable. When a courageous lawyer, Jeff Anderson broke this barrier and was able to bring fraud suits against the AD. They sent in Dolan to shuffle assets around and keep them away from any victims. The same blueprint was used by other AD's they delay cases until a deposition of a church leader was to be taken then file bankruptcy a few days before. The Milwaukee AD filled bankruptcy thus stopping all civil suits and discovery documents. The B-ruptcy court the judge found the secret documents so scandalous that she was going to keep them sealed for ever. That is why Listecki' (after calling the abused to come forward) Has spent millions trying to get more than 90% of the victims cases thrown out. (In effect intentionally re abusing us) He thought the proof of the lies,deceit, cover up. would be sealed from the public forever. The Judge changed her mind and was going to release them the next day. For the AD,It as always been about keeping the secret documents out of the public. As a non victim you have not daily seen my priests devilish face in your minds eye, and the frightening panic attacks that sometimes accompany that picture or a smell of that cologne. I want to know who and why they intentionally put me in harms way. And if a little boy's innocence and spiritual life was worth protecting their image.I have great respect for many priests and Catholic parishioners. The leadership as you will read July 1 is mostly corrupt and evil and has nothing in common with the teachings of Jesus.

I absolutely agree, There is so much "misunderstanding" of the complete agenda of the church hierarchy. Who successfully (SECRETLY) spends millions lobbying against SOL changes. People forget that Archbishop Weakland "forgot" about the celibacy thing he signed up for. And the Church SECRETLY paid almost a half million dollars HUSH money to Weakland's ex lover. It didn't stay hushed. Look at the post below by Marjmag. People make assumptions about who are the "good guys" and "bad guys". Just because you wear a collar or pointy red hat and gold cross does not make you a "good guy" and being a lawyer does not make you a "bad guy"

Marjmag makes several incorrect assumptions, Most of the problems with the Milwaukee AD have been about leaderships arrogance, moral superiority and COMPLETE LACK OF TRANSPARENCY. Marjmag is a parent, If his/her child was molested by a priest I would bet that he/she would want to know who,what,and why. The AD has a history of lying,misleading and intimidation.

A group that you appear to not be very fond of (SNAP),(I am sorry if I misread your feelings about SNAP ) would most likely provide help and support for you to take care of the trauma that your child suffered. They would expend much effort to get the facts for you. In fact they are being a PIA to many AD's to make sure today's and tomorrows kids are safe.

Demanding records:

Victims and Victim groups have asked for the truth for years and years only to be lied to and mislead. The AD proves this by only doing the right thing when ordered to by a judge.

Victims groups are never satisfied:

Would you be satisfied if there was information about 30 pedophiles living near your home but could only get info on 15?

They can monitor how a AD operates:

Who can monitor how the AD operates. IT IS A SECRET ORGANIZATION. They only find out after another child gets raped.

They have gotten money for victims:

Are you kidding me? Not this victim, What was my childhood worth. The lifelong panic attacks depression, I have tried to have a relationship with God and I find it almost impossible. They SECRETLY pay the lover of an Archbishop almost half a million dollars and have spent millions trying to get the victims cases including mine thrown out of bankruptcy court.

The poor dead priests cannot defend themselves:

As a little boy serving mass nor could I, And the living dysfunctional adults who suffer daily because they were abused by clergy are so worthless to the AD that Dolan hid 57 million dollars in a cemetery perpetual care fund to prove that the grass around the graves and a secret ex lover of an Archbishop are more important than the victims souls and their horrid lives that were destroyed by the Milwaukee AD..

It is a never ending tale when is the stopping point:

I feel for you, it must be so hard for you to have to here about this. Think about how the victims must feel. This could have been over in a few months but the AD wanted to do the exact opposite of what Jesus would do.

You have no skin in this fight:

You are a parent and a human being. If you really did some research on this issue, the inner human inside your heart would be deeply troubled by how the AD is treating the victims. You might even call them and tell them so.
From my unique perspective, The Milwaukee Archdiocese Leadership needs to start acting like Jesus and have complete transparency to insure that no other child has to endure a painful lifetime of confusion, depression and failure. The value of one child's soul and functional life is worth more than any church or leaders reputation.

Thank you Laurence for telling it like it is. I am a victim sometimes survivor and now a creditor in the Milwaukee bankruptcy case. It is like being stuck in a bizzaro-reverso world where everything is opposite. A lawyer named Jeff Anderson is my hero and the supposed morally and spiritually superior Milwaukee Archdiocese leadership will and has committed many evil acts to keep secrets and assets. Listecki and Dolan say the right things (people give them instant credibility because of a white collar or a red pointy hat and 5 pound gold cross) they talk like Jesus would, but act like Satan would. These men truly believe that their image and the image of their church are worth more than the lost innocence and soul of a child. They constantly show that they hate the victims of abuse caused by clergy in their own Archdiocese. I am shocked that all the good priests and parishioners haven't started a revolt, Very few people care about us or will stand up for us or even acknowledge how evil the Milwaukee Archdiocese is behaving. Archbishop Listecki asked anyone that was abused by the Milwaukee Archdiocese to come forward for healing and resolution. I planned on keeping the abuse secret for life. It took courage and a lot of pain to come forward. Archbishop Listecki's first legal action was trying to get over 90% of the victims cases thrown out of court. I felt re abused. He has spent millions of dollars in 2 plus years of this Bankruptcy trial trying to get most of our cases thrown out and to protect his secret documents. Fortunately the bankruptcy Judge changed her mind and is making them release 3000 pages of secret documents and depositions on July first, The world will finally see how arrogant and unholy these people really are,

marjmag Although I am a victim of some of the sickest clergy abuse which has caused some serious issues in my life, I have noticed that you often include a negative jab to SNAP in many of your posts. I am not a member of SNAP because I am not a "group" type of person. I respect SNAPS efforts in trying to get to the truth and tirelessly trying to protecting children. I suggest that you review your past posts and possibly consider that you may have some narcissistic tendencies. Maybe you should change your post name to Miss Cleo, the psychic. How can you profess to know what is in the minds and hearts of all of the people that are members of SNAP. And your comment assessing blame especially to the too many men who attain a trophy wife. You could make them wear the letters TW on their clothes. Maybe in a dark red or scarlet color.

Michael Leach, I want to and have to find the courage to someday forgive my abuser and their accomplices. My future functional life depends on it. Mr. Leach, this is a blueprint not just for the Church, but for humanity. I have come to realize that almost all relationships and their failure include both people who have made choices and actions both good and bad throughout a relationship that usually splits the accountability of it's failure to both parties involved. One can lie to oneself and take a snapshot at a particular time or use an action that illuminates the blame on that person. That is what I call a "justified resentment" or "baggage". True forgiveness is the only way out of this self imposed anger. I will use your article as a tool to examine my life and see where this could apply. How many times have we not included someone in some kind of gathering because of a political or other trivial reason? I like how you say "little miracles start to happen". Forgiveness and hope are as essential as food and water to sustain a healthy life.

Amen Jerry! People need to hear the truth. As a victim,sometimes survivor and now a "lowly" "creditor" in the Milwaukee Archdiocese bankruptcy action. I have zero respect and sympathy for lawyers who protect the so called morally superior hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church. Dolan, Listecki and the others will and have done many (self justified) evil things to protect their image and the image of their church (so called higher good) Dolan shuffled money around and put 57 million in a cemetery perpetual care trust that never had more than a few grand for the last fifty years. He paid off pedophile priests then lied about it,
In Milwaukee, the bankruptcy Judge signaled early, that the secret documents were so scandalous that she would keep them sealed for ever. This opened the door for the Milwaukee AD to use a "legal hardball" strategy. Because they thought the proof in the "secret documents" would be sealed from the public forever. Soon after the Milwaukee AD filled for bankruptcy protection, they asked for all victims that suffered abuse from the AD to come forward for healing and resolution. The first thing the Archbishop and his Lead Lawyer Frank LoCoco did was to try to get almost 95% of the victims cases thrown out of court. This has been going on for more than two years, continually trying different strategies to get us thrown out. LoCoco said "There is no dispute that the abuse happened, that it was awful," "In a court of law, we talk about justice, not charity.”

Well charity was what I was providing your church while I served mass. What was not charitable is when the Milwaukee Archdiocese priest repeatedly ejaculated in my little bottom! The less than charitable flashbacks and the panic attacks that I get to experience have changed my life forever.

If you choose to defend lying, arrogant scumbags that strut around wearing 7 pound gold crosses, and choose to protect them from being held accountable for the heinous actions that destroyed many lives. Not only do I hope and pray that miraculously, genital warts will cover every square inch of you face, I also hope that you spend a huge amount of dollars defending yourself of malpractice and you spend three times as long as the victims of your strategies for the church have spent in court. I hope that the Archdiocese will do the same and you will both somehow lose.

Good news for the victims of clergy sexual abuse in Milwaukee. Bad news for Dolan and Listecki and the Milwaukee AD and LoCoco. The bankruptcy Judge changed her mind and will be releasing all depositions and three thousand pages of some of the worst abuse and coverup of any Archdiocese so far. July first is the day, I am quite sure Dolan will be on a retreat and unreachable.

This is talking point from a highly paid PR firm hired by Pope "wanna-be" Dolan.

I am a victim of abuse from a priest in Milwaukee and I have heard all of their lies and spin. This following gem would make Pinocchio's nose grow three feet.

"If society takes an honest look at what the church has done in the last 10 years and the seriousness with which the bishops have taken this issue, they have to acknowledge the Catholic Church is the only institution that has such a clear mechanism to protect children and to deal with the whole sexual abuse issue," Cesareo said.

In the Milwaukee bankruptcy action the Church leaders have shown their hatred for the victims of their abuse.

The Bishops have SERIOUSLY:

Set up a bankruptcy.
Hid assets from the victims.
Secretly paid pedophiles cash bonuses to leave.
Spent millions of dollars trying to get almost every case thrown out of court.

The only thing that the Bishops seriously accomplished is protecting their own miserable existence.

They have never changed they way they think and feel about this scandal and many have a hatred of the victims. I have personally seen this.

In the Catholic Church there can be no genuine resolution of this scandal because Church leaders continue to use the same repulsive mindset that got them into this mess.

Now, instead of just their reputation being more valuable than
protecting little children, who because of those actions, have become
“victims” now “creditors”. Church secrets and assets are now more
important to them than genuine reconciliation with the victims of their
self protective strategies.

This venomous mindset is why after all of the focus on clergy sex abuse, a
long time problem priest, known to Milwaukee Archbishop Listecki and Cardinal
Dolan, was allowed to work with children. The recent removal of Father
Robert Marsicek from Pius X grade school should not be a surprise and
will not be the last of the problems erupting from the Milwaukee
Archdiocese.

This is because, for decades its spiritual leadership has
lacked the courage and moral vision to sincerely, transparently and
completely deal with the issue of clergy sex abuse. Its current leader Archbishop Listecki continues this ingenuous tradition. The callous legal
strategy towards the victims turned creditors shows his true feelings
about this issue. If he shows no genuine care for past victims, how could he possibly care about future victims?

My heart goes out to the victims still with us and to the many who have ended their own lives because of these evil beings!

To some I am labeled a victim to some a survivor to others a greedy person going after the deep pockets of the poor innocent Catholic church. The facts are that I (and a lot of others) was a little Catholic child serving as an altar boy with the intent to get closer to God. The sickest things one could imagine were done to me by a priest. Some say get over it. I wish that was a possibility. I experience frightening flashbacks brought on by certain sounds smells and other things. My functional life was ruined by the choice to become an altar boy.
Even though I still believe that most Catholic parishioners are wonderful caring people. When it comes to the sex abuse scandal most have stuck their heads in the sand as their Hierarchy has acted on a self protecting agenda, including all sort of lies by our Archbishops and a pope "wanna be" Cardinal Dolan. One of their goals was to work public opinion and turn victims into villains. The unholy actions carried out by people that claim to be men of God is horrid. Dolan lies about lying and pays of pedophile priests and plays hide and go seek with funds meant to help restore lives that were destroyed. Listecki spins this document release, he has spent millions trying to keep his secrets and now tries to make it look like he cares about victims. Judge Kelley made it clear in court that she was likely to unseal at least some of the documents. Listecki " worried in his letter how victims would weather the public release of such information. Is this the same Listecki that asked us to come forward and then spent millions trying to throw every case out of bankruptcy court? His actions literally re offended a group of already fragile people. Dolan and Listecki deserve to be removed from their positions. Fr. Jim Connel, a real man of God, who shows through his actions,his intent to live the teachings of Jesus.
Thank God for Jeff Anderson and Mike Finnegan who by the way have never sold out by taking any hush funds from the church.
Milwaukee, for years your leadership has selfishly hurt many, many people. When will someone from Church leadership sincerely take care of the victims?

The ones that killed themselves, lived a life of desperation. These people were once part of the flock then discarded without their soul. They were lied to and treated like villains. What if it was you or your child?? I am glad this has not happened to you, however I wish you could experience just one of my flashbacks. Your opinion might change enabling you to find just a bit of compassion. I want to make sure that no other child has to live the life that I did.

Of course I stand for falsely accused priests.
Did you actually do anything about the issue of falsely accused priests or did you just stand for it.

Most victims that can muster the courage to confront this issue are shunned by clergy and many parishioners and are usually treated as a trouble maker and not taken seriously. So I indeed through actual life experience understand the concept that you mention. However, it should be noted that bishops all over the world have transferred known pedophiles to new unsuspecting parishes without notifying the parishioners, thus putting children in harms way. The organization made a choice to protect the reputation of the church and the worthless hides of the hierarchy. I am familiar with comments like yours that carry a sense of minimizing victims issues but protecting your dear church, which in a big part has forgotten about the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Today is a red letter day for victims. The light of truth will shine through clouds of false agenda's, talking points and duplicity, Maybe I am being unfair to you,and if I am I offer an apology. But it seems to me that your comments fall into my cloud category.

His Eminence, I think not. His Fraudulence is more accurate.

I know life is full of choices and I made the selfish choice to become an altar boy to get closer to God and suffered soul crushing abuse that changed my life in the most detrimental ways. I was discarded from the flock like trash and turned from victim to creditor and villain.

I know it is too much to ask Dolan and Lie-stecki and other Catholic leadership to act in accordance with who and what they claim to be..Men of God running an institution that follows the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Fr. Jim Connel is a fine example of living the teachings of Jesus.

Would Jesus:

Lie about lying about paying off pedophiles 20k. Yet call forward victims for healing and resolution then spend millions trying to throw them out of the process, in effect re-offending fragile former flock members.

Agree with both Listecki and Dolan who left Marsicek working with children and neither archbishop notified parents or parishioners of the complaints against Marsicek or his history in California.

Lie about shielding assets from victims of their own making

This answer is so simple. Act in accordance to the teachings of Jesus Christ.Tell the truth, Take care of the victims and help them restore most of their shattered lives. Apologize.

Jeff Anderson is a hero that never settled with a hush money settlement. I thank God for him every day. He has given me hope in my close to hopeless existence. Priest abuse took my soul away.

Hi Father, As a victim and sometimes survivor of the Milwaukee mess, I am sorry that this has happened to all of us. Us meaning Parishioners, Devoted Clergy and Victims of Clergy Sex abuse.
I appreciate this opportunity to hear about how this scandal has changed lives from your perspective as a priest. I know there are many, many wonderful things done by many hardworking clergy and parishioners.
As a victim of this mess, I am searching for an complete and true understanding of why things happened the way that they did. I mean no disrespect to you at all, but several issues still concern me about the sexual abuse scandal. Here are a few.
Why did so many good clergy stay silent?
Did you not know of any specific issues in your area?
Were you afraid of retaliation from your boss?
What did you think should be done for the victims?

Men like Fr. Jim Connel stood up for what HE thought was right. I am not suggesting that every priest should have done what Father Jim has done. Although I respect and admire him for his courage.
I have similar questions for some of the people in the pews.
I have been sent love and care in many comments from some wonderful people on this site.
I have been called a scammer, huckster and told to get over it by some people claiming to be Catholic parishioners.
The most consistent negative comment that I receive is that "what good will it do to bankrupt a church that has so many good people and does so many good things".
I am not trying to bankrupt the Catholic Church, whose leadership has been very much less than kind to me in dealing with this issue. The sick and repeated abuse has affected my life in very negative ways.
What should I do?
And how should a victim feel, from your perspectives?

The arrogance of Weakland, Dolan, Listecki and now Doll, Dishonesty begets dishonesty. Why not just take a "Louisville Slugger" and smack the victims of the Milwaukee Archdiocese. You have done pretty much everything else to them.

Initially you put many of them as children, intentionally in the arms of known pedophiles. YOU made them the victims of crimes like rape and molestation. These sickening crimes were perpetrated by clergy, some who YOU say that YOU are not responsible for because of their religious order. The others because it happened too long ago. But YOU are not responsible for any of this for some reason. And YOU now are broke because of all of those mean villains/victims. Accepting NO moral or legal responsibility for horrendous crimes.
This originally done to protect the image of these "Men of God", the "Image of a "Holy Church" and some Assets"

When victims originally came forward they were shunned and lied to.

Listecki asks all people that were sexually abused by clergy to come forward for "healing and resolution" . His intent all along was to try to throw all victims out of court, in effect re-abusing, already fragile people.

Listecki lies about "Voluntarily" releasing documents that the Judge was going to release the next morning, the same documents he spent millions of the faithfuls money on keeping secret for years.
Listecki, in a show of arrogance tries to spin the documents released and put them in the context of an arc and evolution of understanding. In essence saying we did not know it was wrong to rape a child back then, and we were sure that there would not be long lasting effects on child victims.
How stupid do you think we are after years of YOUR lies and hardball legal
tactics while using any legal loophole to avoid accountability. YOUR efforts of trying to turn victims into villains. The intentional bankruptcy and the constant delay tactics.
And DOLAN moves $57 million into a cemetery trust explicitly to protect the money from “ANY LEGAL CLAIM OR LIABILITY” The proof in DOLANS letter is sledgehammer obvious. How can you keep lying and denying. Every time that you continue to lie and make excuses, you call everyone stupid and loose more and more respect. True Men of God would come clean and seek reconciliation.
Act in accordance with the teachings of this man, named Jesus, whose teachings once were the foundation of the Church that you claim to lead. Until this is realized the Church will be off of the path that leads to Christ. This victim/villain is confused, disappointed and hurt by the continued actions of this organization.

As a victim of the Milwaukee sex abuse scandal I am having a problem in coming to terms with the comment; "Don't we have a great example in Pope Francis?" I was very hopeful that this pope would help me return to the Church. I am extremely disappointed that after the recent 6000 pages released from the Milwaukee Archdiocese bankruptcy proceedings, That I can find no comment from Pope Francis about this issue. I am really trying to understand why. Thank you all, your thoughts on this matter would be helpful.

I applaud Fr. Jim for having the courage to ask sincere questions and respond in a Christ-like manner. As a victim/villain involved in this mess, Fr Jim along with others like Tom Doyle, Jeff Anderson, Marci Hamilton have given me hope that healing is a possibility.

Those who have read at least a portion of the recently released documents, now have a greater understanding of the actions used by the various Church leaders in response to the sexual abuse and rape of children. After reading about -what they did- I realized that additional understanding could be gained by looking at what the Milwaukee Archdiocese -did not do- in response to the sexual abuse crisis.

--They did not tell the truth.-- It should be troubling to all involved that Listecki's first attempt at being truthful and transparent was based on a lie. The documents were not released by Listecki's 180 degree change of heart and new found compassion for the victims. One example; Why are there so many victims? Their reason was that an attorney spent millions on TV. ads looking for victims. I say, do the math from your own files and it is clear that many,many victims did not come forward. Another jab at the victims/villains.

--They forgot about -RECONCILIATION-

It is hard to believe that these are the current leaders of the Church and that these are the actions of --Men of God-- in response to the sexual abuse of little Catholic children.

The Vatican has not responded to the document release.

The former Pope promoted Dolan for his show of value--s in Milwaukee.

These men continually show their true feelings about the victims, they feel that the victims are villains who are a threat to their privilege and power.

Archbishop Listecki, I have a question for you to ponder. If you do not care about past victims how can you possibly prevent future victims? --

What is the next Milwaukee Archdiocese strategy in resolution of this issue? You might as well get a "Louisville Slugger" and start whacking all the victims/villains, you have done just about everything else to them.

The are only two reasons why it might not pass your smell test;

A) Your smeller device is broken. (Damage may have occurred in the 3 pound smell processing and interpretation link to the smeller device)

B) The overpowering smell of the festering infection of the evil and selfish acts done to little children of their flock with more importance placed in protecting the Image of corrupt men, their Church, assets and even pedophile clergy over protecting children from lifelong damage and pain. This smell seems to overpower all smells.

Father Connel is a living example that current Church leadership has forgotten that their church was founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ,

One might try using a different modality, the seeing device can observe actions, and the blood pumping device, sometimes can process feelings and reveal ones truths.

The only thing that is sad is the very existence of SNAP.

Had the Leaders of the Church acted in accordance of who and what they claim to be.

There would not be scores of victims.

Had the Leaders of the Church responded to victims with love, care and a sincere attempt at reconciliation.

There would be no need for SNAP.

or many anti-Catholic humans

The Roman Catholic Church has the most information regarding the teachings of Jesus Christ, Had they followed them I would not be angry responding to your comments, because you would not be bashing SNAP because they would not even exist for you to bash.

You would be on some other forum trying to minimize the victims of some other tragedy

As a victim that Judy helped through her postings and personal communication, I can say that she has showed only love and care to me, Those who say otherwise cannot truly know her.

The actions of rape that happened years ago have ruined the functional lives of many including mine. The continued, including recent responses of Church leadership to the victims of their making, are more hurtful than helpful to the Church's reputation.

Self Reform --Unfortunately, the Church did not reform itself. --

I wish it was not this way.

The Church consistently only does the "right thing" when forced to by external pressure or court action.

I pray that what happened to me never happens to you or a loved one.

I do not appreciate the Churches actions, which have in effect, bludgeoned what is left of my soul.

Is my human existence not worthy of sincere understanding and reconciliation from the organization that caused this damage ? What should I trade my childhood and functional life for ?

Archbishop Listecki. Says all the right things, but unfortunately his actions have been hurtful to the victims of clergy sex abuse. He lied with Dolan about the cemetery trust fund, with proof contained in a letter to the Vatican that the move was to keep any funds away from victims. He shows his care of the victims by trying to get all their cases tossed, he has not once had the courage to show up in court and look the victims, (that he called forward for healing and resolution) in their sad eyes. Shame on him. If he does not care about past victims how could he care about preventing future victims. I was repeatedly raped by a priest when I was an altar boy. In the 1990's the minute after the WI supreme court ruled that the church could not be sued because of the religious freedom act they immediately began a no settlement policy. Except if you are the lover of an Archbishop, That secret was worth 450000. My and others lives that were destroyed are worth nothing. Randy wake and drop thew kool-aid.. How did the Church practice reconciliation? He did not release the documents that he has spent millions of parishioner dollars keeping secret. The Judge signaled that she was going to release them the next day.

How about the victims, that because of his and other prelates actions have been thrown into a dark spiritual limbo?

His best to protect the church from scandal, hide assets and to secretly send pedophile priests packing with 20k. Many of these known pedophiles are dangerous men. The charitable Cardinal did not notify the authorities about the history of all of these men. All of these communities were not warned of the possible danger from these evil men.

I have hope that Pope Francis will see Cardinal Dolan for what he truly is. A person that has forgotten that this Church was founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Catholic Church is not a corporate ladder for power hungry narcissists like Dolan to climb and reach more levels of privilege and self importance. If this once relevant and wonderful organization wants to repair its crumbling image. It must follow thru on reconciliation to the many who have been severely hurt by it. It must rid itself of the "Dolans" of the Church, who by observing their actions, are the polar opposite of the example that Pope Francis seems to demonstrate.

Dolan said "I find myself examining my own conscience ..." I respond to Cardinal Dolan. That is a good start, I will be waiting for your statement correcting all of the malarkey that has past your lips and a sincere apology to the people that you have hurt. At that time you will have my respect.
