My current favorite game? DayZ. Zombies, First Person Shooter engine, potential PKing.
2. I've also played and enjoyed The Sims (and I did play The Sims Online but it didn't quite pan out as a potential Snow Crash world like I had secretly hoped it might be when I first heard about it).
3. I run a gaming t-shirt site (I started it when video game t-shirts were still "niche" - was even featured in PC Gamer because it was that rare).
4. EverQuest was my MMORPG entry game, and launched me into some serious gaming / game industry stuff (I've been to many E3s, game community events/conventions, ComicCons... I've even been in a video game documentary).
5. I am an avid outdoors person (rock climbing is my main sport, I've been sponsored by an outdoor company).

If people only know one of the above points about me, they get a very different picture of who I am. Female gamer / Woman gamer / etc, we all know that the ESA report is broad (and I have an old ESA report from about 6 years ago that says female gamers made up about 30% of the market... which raised the very same comments that have been made in this thread, LOL).) but I'm hoping that my post can counter some of the impression some folks seem to get that all female gamers are either Candy Crush players or in some kind of feminist camp (and therefore would hate all female marketed games).

For the record though, I would probably hate the Kardashian game :P

Re: A new comment system, converting to Disqus

Yay for Disqus!
