I think it would be a very wise pr move for Mr. Messina to invite us to town hall for a photo op and a cold beer to iron out our problems. This was an idea I had recently and was stolen in D.C.
Personally, I do not trust ANY politician, and I know many.

Go back to your Bethlehem neighbors for peace rally and let the people who really know whats going on converse. Just remember....anonymity is the camoflage of a coward. I do believe we landed on the moon and I think references to the holocaust on a local political blog is out of bounds. Glen Beck is ok, but I prefer Alan Combes.

You just did the exact same thing that you are railing against. You just called ALL of Messina's supporters ( Sam's little army of angry, negative attack dogs... still out and going for the jugular),( It's pitiful.) Please! I believe another of Cunninghams supporters called another blogger a Troll? Personally, My blog entries are nothing more than truth. I take exception to an administration that put the workers of the town and their families, oh, and by the way, yours as well, at risk. nothing is more pitiful than blind alligiance to a political ideology, politition etc... without looking at the effect on all of the populace. That is why I am and will remain an Independent.

I believe there was one employee that actually was fired after reporting what actually did occur at the Bethlehem water plant. I know Mr. Cunningham was notified prior to ENCON that there was a problem at the facility, Cunningham did nothing so, ENCON came in and shut the place down. I believe several months ago more mercury was found at the facility as well, Bethlehem police detective(s) were sent to the scene to investigate, why did we never hear the result of the investigation?
Cunningham, Cansler, and the towns attorney Mr. Potter were all aware there were concerns about possible tax-payer money being wasted and other misdeeds. Did they ever conduct an investigation? No! I am sure at least one of the three when told, said " you don't have proof" when asked, do you want the proof, said, "no".
(Cunning)ham lost, it was low voter turnout. ENCON conducts an investigation, finds the Town at fault, ENCON twisted his arm to sign a consent order. One month later the employee who came forward to tell the truth is fired due to a conflict in schedule? Please! Open your eyes. It appears that everything is someone elses fault.

Stinky- If you had half the brain you appear to have you would research the termination reports and clearly see that this worker ( who was in charge of security at the plant that you and your family drink water from, was terminated after coming forward with the truth! watch out there may be recordings from those conversations with the town attorney about the case, so come interrogate me and I will give you an earful of the truth

the fact that 40 pounds of mercury was spilled on the floor then totally mishandled and then covered up, the employee came forward to detail the misdead was canned, now go back to where ever you came from and continue to carry water (no pun) intended for the machine. You have no basis for your opinion other than, I know you are, but what am I!!!!! I on the other hand was there! were you? hey dumb-dumb have you read the EN-con report?

unfortuately, the town of Bethlehem conducts a thorough investigation by terminating the person who brings the information about wrong doing to light. This is not the first time this has occurred. Read the stories about the Reservoir security person that was canned for speaking out. The town never interviewed one person at the plant, and allowed the plant managers to concoct a totally ficticious account of events and then did nothing! even in the face of a scathing ENCON investigative report. The Supervisor, Town Attorney, Public works commisioner and every board member should be ashamed of themselves for their lack of due diligence not only in this past case but the Hughes case as well! when I get into the voting booth I intend to conduct an investigation of my own, I will find the levers corresponding to other more suitable candidates and vote for them.
