it is a big game changer, I have done over 80 broadcasts so far and have over 900 followers at during my scopes I don't have a huge audience but have been able to build such a great community and tribe, people love its randomness and how real it can get, I have dropped my phone, danced funny, gotten photo bombed by my kids and list goes on, I actually think people will prefer this platform vs podcasts in future, think podcast audience will go down just a tad,

ah thanks for replying, yes strategy is important and i love strategizing for both Google and Pinterest because I love me some Pinterest SEO so I optimize for Google and when I pin, I add rich text for Pinterest.

Great points and will share with my group as this month is all about blogging, I just disagree with your SEO comments in regards to image optimization. The alt text should not be that long at all, that text example is great for when pinning the image and yes if text is in alt text it will pick up that text saving you time but for SEO purposes but the length is wrong. your alt text are loose keywords describing image/post a bit and complete sentences are in description box part which your example is empty and should not be 373 characters as your example is. Also your alt text should not be the same text as your title so variation is key, which I don't always have time for but ideally for blogging seo and image optimization, the 3 important areas are : title, alt text and description. Alt text being the most important. but description should be filled out and alt text should ideally not be same exact text as the title and all image texts should be unique. SEO is hard work for sure.

I keep having an issue with my player which stops half way but started replay and have 15 minutes left, I loved the general SEO tips here but I am not really seeing the answer to how to get back links, after checking Google results and content. am I missing something or is he just saying to create great content and people will want to naturally link to you? but if you are not a huge blog yet, how will that happen? and thank you! will listen to rest and check out resources on show notes too. since I teach DIY SEO this is a great topic and learned a few things too.

Today I ventured to the mall to try this new Brazilian place at the Food Court with boys as I did not want to cook. While there I analyzed a few things for sure. This new place had great branding but lacked a few things. When I arrived the cashier seemed not so enthusiastic which left me confused as to what to buy, they also messed up the order, and it took a while especially for a fast food type of place and I was only one on line. What I observed is if they had better messaging, a more excited staff and more samples out of the food as if you are not Brazilian you would not know what it is. One of the food items was Churros, YUMMY especially stuffed with Dulce de Leche as we do in Brazil, I feel if they had it on display it would sell a lot better. I also analyzed that shoppers go with the flow, when a food option does not have a lot of buyers, other buyers are turned off as if there is something wrong with it. Over all it made me think of my message, my customer service, my enthusiasm and how to make things easier, more appealing and less confusing to make the purchase.

humm, in pop up it lets you change color, you go to new list, create list, and do a popup and it gives option to change text color and background color, but not seeing it in a regular sign up form, I am so new to it too

I have one for another blog I have and for my name, have not created one for seo stuff which I work on now, I kind of feel I only people speaking on topic seo for photographers are competitors and I tend not to look at their stuff lol my approach is more diy and practical SEO not so techie, but this podcast has me thinking what other alerts to set up, also I need to do a new twitter account because current one has weddings stuff and seo stuff, which are not related lol

So I just wanted to share that after creating the sneeze page, I posted on 3 related FB groups! I got like 10 thank yous, over 31 likes on one of the FB posts, 16 likes on actual page post! and more views on my FB business page than I usually do, plan to create some more in future yay. thanks again Darren and so Glad you are finally doing podcasts, you have that great voice for it. You and all Australians perhaps lol

Agree great photo, I did notice your opt in on right side says sign up for updates but you don't mention what kind of update and no incentive to opt in so maybe add a bit more info there so people know what they are signing up for and maybe later create a tips sheet, cheat sheet, e-guide etc, hope you dont mind me going off topic :-)
