How many people now has or have had had H1N1 worldwide. How many has died because of H1N1. What is the percentage.

I am very surprise that this H1N1 is not taken more seriously. It is spreading very quickly and more death are being registered from it, yet aside from the news mention it every now and then, wouldn’t you think there should be a 24/7 news channel on this.

Everyone has heard of the H1N1, but many of those do not know how bad it is. Couple things come to mind, they don’t want to alarm the public, and also they are afraid the economy will suffer further.

This leads me to believe that they don’t really care about us, just money. We are just numbers to them and if many of us happen to get this flu and die, then one less that “might” ask for unemployment.

Sorry everyone just venting. Hope everyone is doing great.

Isn't it scary that it's not even flu season. What will happen come October and so on, when the weather changes.

People get colds, are most of us going to assume it's the H1N1. Doctors are going to make a killing this year seeing patients for just a regular cold.

Are they ( goverment) scared if they alarm everyone on how it is spreading like this map is showing, that people will stay home to protect themselfs.

shouldn't they tell everyone to be carefull and know who is around you and cover yourself if someone seems like they might have a cold.

You would think the republicans would love to tell the truth to bury this adminstation even further. There is something wrong here. I would think a news team would love a chance to break everything down to it's viewers.

I guess we keep ingnoring it, until Obama tells us to hide.. LOL

I know there are many things going on in the world right now and maybe that is why CNN or Fox News doesn't keep talk much about the H1N1. Yet, everytime I come on this forum, there is a new death because of this flu or tons of new cases.

Hasn't the H1N1 already killed more people than "what if North Korea does this and that" and the problems in Iran. Although those two news events are very sad and distrubing, if what i read here is true and I know it is, WHY don't they alarm everyone to start wearing mask when going to events, or visiting someone at a hospital.

I always had my doudts on this H1N1, mainly because I was hearing much about it. Now all I do is read what everyone here has to say or their link they provide.

Does anyone here know if in other countries, does there news talk alot about this like they should be, or is it when someone dies.

I don't like what I am seeing and understanding about this Flu.

We (USA) are dealing with unemployment, North Korea, Israel, and now the H1N1. It is too bad that they don’t want to alarm as much as they should with this quick spreading virus.

Until it hits a well known public figure, most of us will be clueless on how bad it really is in the world.

Hospitals in San Diego are not saying much on anyone that is coming in and has H1N1.

I live is San Diego and most people are clueless. My entire family works in the hospital at Sharp and Keiser and they say they don't hear anything about it. Every now and then someone comes in with a cold, but nothing that bad.

WHO said the H1N1 is un stoppable, But it is a MILD Pandemic.

I don't think much worries should be put into this. "I think" "My oppinion"

I hope I am wrong, but I do not see us (US) making this H1N1 a bigger case than it is already.

Most hospitals will be told to put a hold on any talks with any media about any Flu patients that come in.

Right now the US will try everything in it's power to not alarm anyone. I believe they will just take one case at a time.

Way too much money has been invested in making people believe things are getting better, stock marketing is finally doing very well.

So telling people the trurth about the H1N1 is something they don't want to do, unless people are dying in the streets.

Not sure what to think about trhe H1N1 Flu. I still say it is not as bad as this forum makes it out to be.

The news don't even talk about it, unless someone in your own home town has it and they report it in the local news.

I think the H1N1 is not as bad as once thought. Just like the regular flu people have died, so I think they are taking this H1N1 just like the regular flu. People will get better, people will need to go to their doctors and some same percentage will pass away.

We are all still going to live our lives the same way. We are all going out to eat, we are going to the grocery store, post office, shopping going to see a movie and so on.

So you see, the are not going to close everything down in the US, like they did in Mexico City for a few days. We are all still going on with our lives and not even know what is happening because no one is telling us.

I am reading everyones post and I am amaze how many cases are found by the followers on this site. Yet I don't understand why there hasn't been here in the USA an alert on a higher level.

In the begining, like I said many times the news couldn't stop talking about it and in a small way letting people aware. Now, unless it has happened in your own town, you do not hear anything.

This is why, I am confused because I read what you are saying, yet no one is protecting the people who are not aware of what is happening all over the place.

There is no cover up, so I am guessing it is not as bad as it sounds on this site.

Please explain, I also would like to read your predictions on this Flu.
