Clear Channel San Francisco with GM Michael Erickson did 2 bad things in 2009 1 remove Smooth Jazz from KKSF and 2 remove Savage from KNEW they really screwed up. Clear Channel San Francisco is really screwed up not they want Jacqui Smith or Palin to do a show there.

Everybody in the Bay Area should listen to 94.7 The Wave online coverage that will get CBS to convert 99.7 or 106.9 to The Wave Bay Area
or if not get KJZY to buy the 101.3 FM for Smooth Jazz. Forget Clear Channel their main audience are mainly Palin Fanatics. I don't like these people.

Yes Clear Channel and Citadel audiences is mainly Rush and Sarah Palin Fanatics. Citadel mainly has Hannity Fanatics. Although I use Clear Channel KNEW AM Only for Mike Savage. Even Mike Savage admits that he is a fan of Smooth Jazz and Classic Jazz. Maybe Smooth Jazz is Banned in UK too thats why 103.7 is now the Banned. CBS, Cumulus and Entercom were once famous for producing shock jocks but it moved to XM. CBS, Cumulus and Entercom still have a smooth jazz station because they want to distance themselves from Shock Jock Radio

Well The only place to get New Age Music that used to air Sunday Mornings on KKSF back in the 1990's is on the Web like Live 365 and Pandora. Also we are in a Radio transmission war between Satellite, HD Radio and Internet Radio. I think Web Radio will beat HD Radio and Satellite because more people have access to internet radio via Mac, PC, Newer Cell Phones, Iphone and newer MP3 Players. The Car Companies are still debating between the radio transmission formats HD Radio, Xm, Sirius and Internet Radio. This Radio Transmission format Competition is like the Beta Vs. VHS in the 1980's and the recent HD DVD vs. BluRay back in 2005-2007.

Well chriskildegaard you got to listen to www.ksbr.net and www.947thewave.com and www.krvr.com they have a good Smooth Jazz Format. Let CC Put political talk in the 103.7 FM like KSFO or KNEW before they realize that they screwed up. I am a Classical fan, Smooth Jazz fan, Talk fan and a Rock fan on KFOG.

Even Michael Savage is playing 30 second clips Classic Jazz on his show on KNEW 910AM. I remember Dick Conti used to do Sunday Night Classic Jazz on KKSF. Even Savage is questioning his own format of his show. Now even Savage is wondering if political talk is too boring and predictable. Even Savage is looking at Clear Channel intentions. Don't Get me wrong I love smooth and classic Jazz but I like to listen to KNEW for independent conservative Mike Savage and classical 102.1 KDFC.

I love to listen to the 94.7 Wave online and KSBR FM from LA online and KKJZ from Long Beach. However 103.7FM is going to talk radio first with Palin and Sanford before they go to Smooth Jazz again. I remember in 2003 there was 95.7 The Drive it was like 103.7 the band. In 2002 it was the Bear country and in 2007 it was the Wolf country music when Carrie Underwood step in to make country cool again.

Remember KOFY Dogs was gone for 10 years and it returned to TV20 for the 2008 presidential election.

In Fact even Talk Show host Mike Savage likes Smooth Jazz and Classical.

I remember of another version of the Band it was on 98.1 FM in 1996 before KISQ went on the air.

Forget it ! KKSF is dead let Clear Channel Get their wish in making the 103.7 FM frequency into the talk station for Sarah Palin and Mark Sanford.
who knows Mike Savage was banned from England he might get banned from FM 103.7 the Reason KKSF failed because more people in the bay area chose to listen to smooth jazz on CBS's play it http://www.play.it, www.live365.com and www.pandora.com where people can create their own music stations. Big Radio like Citadel & Clear Channel only make money when politicians and political experts from CNN and Fox get their own talk shows on their radio stations.

Look at Citadel Radio and Clear Channel all of their top radio stations are famous for talk radio like Rush and Hannity KGO incidentally is the only Citadel station that airs local talk radio. Entercom has 1 Jazz station and 2 Classical stations. one in SF and one in Kansas City. CBS's KTWV is a smooth jazz and smooth R&B station. I hope the Wave lives on. I hope CBS and Entercom do not make all of their stations talk stations like Clear Channel and Citadel are doing.

Look at Clear Channel's Highest rated radio stations. They are all talk stations with Rush,Hannity and O'Reilly. RIP KKSF. KNEW 103.7 is coming soon with Sarah Palin, Mark Sanford, Bill Ayers and everbody involved in a political scandal or a Political Pundit they will have their talk shows here on this KNEW 103.7. Savage will be removed because of his Banned in UK incident. Look These political pundits see smooth Jazz as too elitist to them. Savage is the only one that likes smooth jazz and classical.

I think if Brian McKnight did a national Smooth Jazz morning show then KKSF would have kept their old format. Brian McKnight's morning show on the Wave in LA is the highest rated morning radio show in LA.

When KLOK 103.7 became KKSF 103.7 in 1987 they Played Janet Jackson 1987 hits in the first 10 minutes of 103.7 as KKSF.

Check out 94.7 FM Canada http://www.wave947.fm/ This Station is Named after KTWV in LA. I may be a Fan of Michael Savage on KNEW 910 AM but I also like to listen to Smooth Jazz. Even Michael Savage Likes Jazz and Classical Music. I remember Savage played classic Jazz on his show while doing some commentary and He played Classical Music on KNEW Yesterday. Please if FM radio drops jazz and Classical we just have to look on the web. We cannot have all AM and FM Stations be just all propaganda for the Left and Right.

Yes I've been telling all the people in the bay area that KKSF will be KNEW 103.7 FM soon with Talk Radio hosts that have been caught in the latest scandals All we have to do is look for good Smooth Jazz Stations Online. Look for good Smooth Jazz, Classic Jazz Online and Classical music online and Rock music online on HD Radio and on XM and on Sirius. AM and FM will only be good for talk radio soon.

I remember Back in the 1980's and early 1990's KBLX tried to compete Against KKSF for Smooth Jazz under the "quiet Storm" Slogan with Sade and Kenny G in the promo. Now KBLX is a pure R&B Station.

Look at 95.7 Fm It was a country station in 2004-2006 but it was converted into Max FM in 2006-2007 now 95.7fm has been reconverted into a Country Station Again. The Problem with Smooth Jazz is that it needs new artists that can be more cutting edge and can ressurect itself eventually also go through a reformation.
