Russell was definitely my favorite down the stretch. The only other thing I disagree with you on, though, is Michelle. Her stupidity is what I think really destroyed the final four alliance. If she had been more reassuring with Jeff and not made negative comments about Russell "coming after" Jeff, Jeff/Jordan might have been less inclined to believe the NatKev liars. This season may end up like the Jun/Allison finale when everyone just left in non-congratulatory silence.

One other thing. I know Chima was insane, but BB has become a bit too gimicky. The "America's Player" type stuff has nearly ruined previous players. The second season was sublimely perfect. Dr. Will established the standard for BB and, after an abysmal first season, proved that the show could stand on its own without the intrusion of "America" (which actually consists of people with too much texting time on their hands and NOT the true America, i.e. American Idol multi-voters, etc....). Sometimes perfection is what it is and can never be duplicated (there will NOT be another Richard Hatch, Dr. Will, or Michael Jordan).

Anyway, no one left to root for, but it will be interesting to see if Kevin, a complete invertebrate, has the cahones to put up Jeff v. Jordan. If not, it would be nice to see Jeff intoduced to the back door (ironic if Kevin "backdoors" him :-)). Although I don't like her, it would have been more fun if Michelle had won this last HOH. She's smack in the middle of it all.

Thanks again for your article!

Re: Big Brother 11: Melt Down City For Jeff And Russell Calms Down And Works It

I'm sorry to see Russell going down in flames (although some of his own actions doomed him). Of the remaining "houseguests" I felt he was the most deserving. I'm sure he's kicking himself now for voting out Ronnie, but, that's the way the ball bounces. I don't feel sorry for him as he had multiple opportunities to win Veto or HOH. The other thing is Michelle screwed him ROYALLY when she kept being evasive and/or throwing Russell "under the bus" to Jeff/Jordan. She could actually stupid her way to the final two if the rest aren't careful. While I'm a fan of neither NatRat or the snivelling weasel Kevin, they pulled off a brilliant "coup d'etat" of their own by convincing Jeff of the "big lie". Coupled with Michelle's idiocy, Russell never stood a chance. So, hat's off to KevNat for playing the game the best way they could. Jordan has always been pretty vacuous, but Jeff has proven to be a disappointment. Chima, for all her foolishness, was right at least once in the game when she called out everyone who supported the bigotted/racist Braden. You can't be friends with a racist without some of it rubbing off on you. If it's true that Jeff called Kevin the "f****t" word, then my respect for him is gone. While I don't support the gay lifestyle, name-calling is not cool. As an African-American male, I have zero tolerance for racism and bigotry in any form even if I'm not the one being attacked. Jeff's paranoia and true personality are beginning to emerge now and hopefully Jordan will get away from a potential abuser before she gets drawn in (on a personal level) too far. As a side note, it was hilarious when Jeff went to kiss her and she gave him the old pull-back! Anyway, great job, BigSister. Keep up the good work.

Re: Big Brother 11: The Big Lie Is Working And Jeff And Jordan Are So Played

I'm rooting for Russell now.

Re: Big Brother 11: The Big Lie Is Working And Jeff And Jordan Are So Played

Ronnie, as much of a "Rat" as he may have been, was right about one thing - Michelle is a pathological liar! She hides behind the "I don't remember the specifics" when she's caught in a lie and she lies about things/people/situations that do nothing to further her game. She just creates confusion and is a socially awkward moron. For example, it made no sense for her to lie about what Chima said when Russell confronted her during his HOH reign. That caused the huge explosion between he and Chima with ripple effects reaching to today. Her action that time damaged her alliance with Russell and then she turns around and nominates Chima when she became HOH. Currently, knowing that Jeff & Jordan are a firm alliance, it would make sense for her to remain at lease loyal to Russell, but she's throwing him under the bus and potentially jeopardizing the final four team by lying about Russell to Jeff and Jordan, creating a scenario that might involve Natalie skating another week. To Jeff's credit, I don't think he would be giving as much credence to the Natalie/Kevin lie(s) were it not for the confusion Michelle is creating concerning Russell. And to what end? Michelle is CRAZY to think she could break up Jeff/Jordan, so she's working for third place in that triangle. She would never be trusted by the remaining INSANE CLOWN POSSE of Kevin/Lydia/Natalie (Chima, RIP), so her turn on Russell makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER! I don't think she's the "worst human being" as Ronnie put it. But she has more in common with the rats she works with than she does with human beings.

Re: Big Brother 11: Ranking The Remaining Nine

Great job with the rankings! The only thing I would disagree with is Michelle and Jeff. I think Jeff is making all the right moves at this point in the game and will only solidify his alliance with Russell and have Lydia ingratiated to him if/when he uses the coup. Natalie and Chima left to their own devices will be extremely vulnerable. Chima will self-destruct (although, if she can pull it together, I would love to see a final three-way-dance-winner-take-all with Chima, Russell, and Jeff in the endgame) and Natalie will be as clueless as Jordan without the appeal. That leaves the BB11 floaters Kevin and Michelle who will eventually fall by the wayside (unless the others get careless and forget about them a'la' June/Allison). That being said, I would reverse the ranks of Jeff and Michelle, making Jeff #1.
