It is all about sharing life! I tell our students that you are going through life, dont go through it alone! The group that I am in meets on Wednesday nights and we play Wii or just hang out for about 30 minutes or so. Catching up and having plenty of laughs and food. Then we recap what was taught on Sunday, chew on some of those points and discuss what we think about them. We look to see where we are headed teaching wise for the coming Sunday, take prayer request and then just sit around and talk about life.

2. Ideal leader is someone who can spark conversation, someone who can know when to bring the convo and the group back to what the subject at hand is. They are normally good listeners, they don't have to be the loudest craziest person. I believe those people squash small groups. They minister by just showing genuine care and understanding for people when people open up and share. They make you feel important and that you were heard.

Re: Obstacles that stifle leadership

Those are right on the money. I know that God has given me the power to overcome anything, including myself! Thanks for the challenge to attack them instead of being attacked by them. May God continue to mold and sharpen you as you inspire and challenge this generation to turn the world upside down for Jesus.
