i am the only person in my office, in my family and in my group of friends that gives a hoot about the world cup...DEPRESSING! i want to scream and hoot like a crazy person but it is significantly less fun when done alone. i heard people in the elevator this morning talking about taking a really long lunch break at 10am. I asked if I could join. They thought I was joking. BLAH wish I could watch with you :)

me encanta leerte por aqui, seba, de verdad el tema de cambiar tu profesion asi me interesa mucho! mi impresiona que trabajen juntos, como dices me imagino que que resulta dificil a veces estar tan cerca tanto tiempo. tienen la suerte de compartir un suenyo y un talento asi como la fotografia. i can't wait to see you both in may :)

Wow. I just cried a little bit. At my desk at work. I can only imagine how magical it was! I've been talking a lot about weddings with different people lately and they seem to be one of those moments of simple pure joy. And look at everyone's faces! Beautiful job, Kyle, capturing those moments. Congratulations to Emily and Rodolfo :)

i think you hit the nail on the head, on all factors. it is completely obvious, yet often so hard to do. in my case, a little (ok a lot) of distance from chile has allowed me to step back and see myself more clearly. my frustrations while living in santiago were exacerbated by all the things we usually griped about, but at the root of it, it was me. i needed an extra push to really begin seeking my work in the world. my life there, the people, and yes, teaching english, helped clarify so much for me and while i have a lot of moments where i think, man, i should've put myself out there more, or really challenged myself career-wise, i realize that by being able to see this all now doesn't necessarily mean it's too late.
so, although i ramble, i really mean: this is wicked good advice! and it is 100% true, wherever you are, so pay attention :)

gah! i want! i've been in a dog wanting craze for the last oh maybe 6 months but sadly i'm not settled yet so carting a dog around would be near impossible and mostly cruel. i hope someone adopts this sweetheart soon! she looks precious :)

Time really does move like lightning. I was just reflecting on how two years ago I was totally isolated in my head, had no gringa group and was wishing for a miracle. I think it was only a month later that Amanda introduced me to you on your old provi apt rooftop sitting by the pool. Back then you had a reeeeaaally long platinum blonde ponytail ;) And that was 2 years ago! I am sending my best wishes your way, hoping for a speedy recovery for your dad, he is very lucky to have you and seba there to care for him and keep his spirits up! lots of love

yessssssssss Amsterdam! I have to go back there asap, I loved that city. But it's been a while since I was there and I was with my parents soooo... yeah. But the Van Gogh museum is amazing and I remember eating ridiculously good french fries. I believe we bought them by the canal and showered them with salt and vinegar. There might have been mayo involved as well. Either way, it was awesome. Something on a bike? I don't know, Holland = Bikes always in my mind. Have a blast! (and I know it's your main man's bday super soon! was it just last year that we celebrated together???)

im not sure why, but this is my absolute favoritest set of wedding photos ive seen from you! maybe its all the popping colors, quirky location, i dont know, but amazing amazing job! it looks like it was a ton of fun for you to shoot, so in all, mad props to you for being a beast photographer and best wishes to the new bride and groom!
