If you think that Lightyears boxoffice has anything to do with gay characters then you are simply revealing yourself to be a complete dumdum.
Or a homophobe.
Same thing either way.
Having a gay character is not a selling point. It's an effort to be inclusive. Because, you know, there are millions of gay people around the world who have yet to see themselves included in most animated features.
If you don't see that, that's fine. You can continue to live your hateful life and will see more gay folks in animated movies and in the movie theatre watching these movies and there won't be room for you anymore.
