With all due respect, Bemused (wait, there is no such thing as due respect for the anonymous!)... if you don't like the parties, then don't go to the parties or don't talk about the parties. Is it really more complicated than that? I'm amused by your interest.

If the parties aren't what you'd expect - then stop expecting. It's not your magazine - it's theirs.

According to 96.7% of people I've met in New York, I also "sound" Canadian ... which makes sense because Canada borders Minnesota. So, thank you New York, for acknowledging the obvious. I suppose the same logic would apply to Palin's speech-situation... though her accent is much heftier than mine.

I say YES to the reality TV show pitch. A few suggestions:

1. An opening montage, set to (ivy-leaguers-turned-indie-rock-dreamboats) Vampire Weekend's "Oxford Comma"... where the interns are filmed performing said duties.

2. All intern departures are announced on Gawker ... (and, consequently, open to irrelevant embarassment and mockery from gawkerslaves)

3. Weekly screenings at MY apartment - where I will organize and maintain a fantasy-football-esque pool.
