If you take liberal to mean “for the people.” Because the democrats are “for the people” more often than the GOP the media tended to be on their side more often then not. Rupert Murdock being a businessman more then a republican saw an opportunity and took it. He created the “fox news network” and conservatives found a voice. That voice however came in the form of AM extremist, and had the effect of changing the way we receive our news. Now one pundit says something, the other repeat it in by then end of the day you have a consensus (even if its nonsense). The flip side of this is that now there is mistrust for the media on both sides. Is global warming an issue? Who is Obama? Etc. Add to that the Internet and the strangle hold of media conglomerates and it becomes mind numbing to find a honest source. I don’t know where to find un-biases news but here are a few names and sources I trust!
-Al Franken
-NPR
-LexisNexis
-Bill Maher

PLUR
-3
