I used to sell credit card services, there are limits to the retailer on how long they can have those gift cards active as well. With the house, multiple layoffs, and extended unemployment..I have less money now than I did 5 years ago. I'm hording every penny until I get back to making some real income in 2014.

I decided to go back to school..I'm going into a full time technical program in June for auto mechanic training. I'm taking a night class starting in Jan. in order to reserve a spot for the full time program. Now I have to find a swing shift or night shit job when my basketball coaching season ends, because I'll be out of unemployment by then. I decided I'm done with office work. I'm not cut out for doing it especially in this valley. I'm obtuse to office politics until I end up being fired over something trivial. I'm two for two in that regard!

Sounds like the way to go. Sounds peaceful and happy. My Dad turns 90 in two weeks. He has out lived both his younger siblings. He's out living just about everyone. We have a large generation from WWII who are old as dirt now. We've lost 3 relatives this year one being my Dad's younger sister.

My wife and I are taking Dad on a trip to Zion Natl. Park and staying in a lodge on a buffalo ranch for Thanksgiving. This will be his first trip with us and finally he's getting out of the house and go somewhere since moving to Fresno, CA. He turned down two all expense paid cruises with us in the past, including one this year to the Med. where his Mom and Dad are from (Yugoslavia).

I was fired last Thurs at out of the blue. I might have a wrongful termination suit as there were no grounds for my dismissal at work. In the meantime I'm reading up on the markets out of sheer boredom and possible opportunities.

DTG's run is over, but since I see no one talking about it I thought I would share. If you put in $300,000 @ $.60 and sold at $80 you would have grossed $40 million in four years.

Awesome story. Whiskey was my pain reliever about 3 months ago when I bruised my sternum in a low speed motorcycle crash. I'd go home and drink two doubles in 15-30minutes while gaming. Felt nothing till I went to sleep! Two weeks later I went to the doctor and found out what was causing my pain. I took Alleve for two weeks and it slowly went away.

I get back spasms, sometimes just bending over to brush my teeth if I had a long weekend of activity. A few years ago when I was 33 I got hit with one so bad that it knocked the wind out of me and I fell down on my front lawn. I couldn't get vertical for about 30 minutes. My wife was at the store and I got sick of waiting so I flipped over, crawled to the awning and pulled myself up the post. I ended up taking a few days off work with no pay it was so bad. Now I know I can only do so much and if I start feeling tired and sore...that's it. Done day. I'm not getting taken out for four days like last time from digging a hole for a Japanese Maple tree.

Don't fool yourself. Anyone trading a fund uses SEVERAL traders to get an entire position filled over the course of DAYS in order to not shake up the market and get a favorable price. It it well documented.

Tradestation by far is the best platform for anyone doing 1,000+ trades a year.TOS has the best charts, but their execution through TDAmeritrade leaves a lot to be desired.

Fidelity is shit unless you're only making 1 or 2 trades a day. Their Trading platform won't execute for anyone trading a tick chart. But for old fisherman used car salesman types, it's fine.

Tradestation by far is the best platform for anyone doing 1,000+ trades a year.
