Honestly, no. I used to love it, before it warped out of all recognition, and the only thing I have to look forward to is a promised seat swapping that will mean I no longer have to sit next to the one referred to only as "Herself".

The sculpture-thingy's the V-shaped thing on the south-west part of that island, near the pier. There are usually a few ships docked around there, but I thought it was all civilian...

Tokyo Port, arse end of Toyosu. Best visited at night. I know, it may not look like much, but walk round the corner to be treated to the twin spectacles of an amazing wind-powered cubist sculpture, and Rainbow Bridge arcing across the bay. Oh, and there's a tower with a giant "F" in gently pulsing lights.

He really is, and I'll definitely be heading back there come winter for some leathers. He mentioned there were going to be some summer events on, so hopefully will catch up with him again there. Heading back... to Japan, or to Musashimurayama?

To be fair, I have to walk around in these all day at work. Plus, while I'd love some proper boots, I can't find my fricking size anywhere. I was all set to pick up some Red Wings while I was on holiday, but we all know what happened to my holiday plans.

Not so. The big Softbank store on Omotesando is selling them from 7am for new contracts, and 9 am for those switching to Softbank. (yay press releases)

Nice! A mate of mine actually bluffed/strongarmed his way into convincing the local constabulary into upgrading his Australian learner's bike licence into a full chugata one. Baffling.

But I'm going to get myself one of the new Kawasaki Ninja 250s on Monday. I am pogoing off the walls with anticipation.

I sent a house guest out for tea the other day. They came back with Royal Milk Tea bags, each individual sachet containing a portion of powdered milk.

They were forced to sleep on the balcony, with nothing but said teabags and my overflowing ashtray for comfort.
