I heard Obama in Boise and I can promise you there was no Teleprompter in the building. More than riveting, it was inspiring.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The real irony is that the bits Barnett thought were ad-libs (Chaney is his cousin, etc.) are part of his regular stump speech.  It takes an accomplished orator to make the 50th time he tells a story sound fresh and original.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Barnett is just part of the right wing spin machine that is throwing anything they can come up with at the wall to see what sticks.  Yesterday it was the "Che flag." Today, Obama can't speak without a teleprompter.   Fear is quite a motivator.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;By the way, Obama is far from an "empty suit."  I think that meme is an example of "either-or" thinking. Clinton is the policy wonk who can't inspire while Obama is the inspirational speaker who only talks in generalities. Obama has pretty detailed policy statements about the issues that matter to me and in every case I prefer his position to Hillary's.  Of course, I will support Hillary over McCain in a heartbeat if she is the nominee.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">DrBlues</dc:creator><pubDate>Tue, 12 Feb 2008 19:05:30 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
