MacDonald demonstrates the same evangelical ignorance of the prosperity gospel that allowed it to flourish in its early days. There is NOTHING biblical about their view of money - it's a Christianized denial of 1 Tim 6. I'm 20 and I can see through it - MacDonald has a PhD in theology as I understand. Where is the (sorry for the cussword) DISCERNMENT (I know, I used the d-word...)

But already it isn't a YRR appreciation fest - Jack Graham, a non-Calvinist Southern Baptist is on the panel. Steve Furtick, another non-Calvinist, is there. Do we need wretched, prosperity-loving motivational coaches who are at best evasive on the doctrine of the Trinity and at worst, deny it? Methink Paul would have something to say to such folks...

Great to see you are enjoying the conference. I listened to Alistair Begg's talk last night and really enjoyed it :-)

I'd like to win a copy of the book since I saw it in a bookshop getting a present for my mother and was really intrigued by the contents. I only had the money to get Mum's Bible but it looks like quite a good book :-)

I'm no-one. Just any dude in uni, but that's not the issue. The issue is that DDT's freestyle is dishonouring to God, proud and self-serving. If you like his music, fine, but I think it's disgusting that there is even a gospel music industry for fools like him to have a place. (Yeah I said that...)

Jesus would overturn his studio and tell him to stop making merchandise of His people...or he'd do another Matthew 23, where He finished those who took the name of God but were a mockery to Him - folks like DDT.

She is under no obligation to continue giving to such a ministry. He broke the "covenant" when he spent that money on himself and his luxury lifestyle - so if she feels that she can no longer do so, she is free.
