They too are just as prejudice. Top Dog criticized Google for firing its employee who equated women to being genetically inferior and unfit for computer science work. So Top Dog is allowed to fire their alt-right employee, but shame on Google for doing the right thing as well? Facebook is crippling this industry by being uncooperative. The biggest earners in the VR industry are cross platform games. My source is I've actually used Soli. You can get all 10 digits accurately tracked and depth up to about 4 or 5 inches, in a footprint close to 1cm^2. Thats pretty remarkable, especially as some early testers have done things like use Soli to detect different metals, liquids, containers, etc.

Your opinions seem severely misguided. I hope you do more research before blasting at others because their thoughts don't align with your heavily opinionated views.

Re: Oculus’ ‘Henry’ Becomes the First VR Film to Win an Emmy

Its incredible the megaphone effect Oculus has regarding this stuff, yet google's Spotlight Stories team has been around longer and has solved so much more of the VR narrative problem, with actual branching storylines and even true interactive choose your own endings, not to mention real compelling stories that actually pull on your emotions much like an actual Pixar film.

Henry is pretty, and not much else. To call it interactive is laughable as he only looks at the viewer once (more of a glance really), and then you're forgotten about for the rest of the show. The only interactivity is your ability to lean around a little from where you're sitting. Clearly with how out of touch the Emmy committee is with this new medium, it didn't take much to blow their minds.

Re: Oculus Explains Why They Didn’t Launch Touch with the Rift (Even Though They “Could Have”)

Wow. The thought process behind this is so asinine I can't even...

Meanwhile, valve kicked out everything, and here we are with a ton of engaging room-scale games, and a flourishing developer community exploring new forms of locomotion and interaction. More developers are making games for the Vive because it has all the components needed for room-scale, and the developers can be assured everyone will have the same hardware to play with. Rift devs are building seated/standing experiences and finely tuning them, and then have to somehow turn around implementing the touch controllers into their games. I don't know how Rift devs can keep making games with all these middle fingers Oculus is giving them....

Re: ‘New Retro Arcade’ Tech Demo Launches with HTC Vive and Rift CV1 Support on Steam

If its not available to purchase or play, it has not launched.
