Thank you very much for your comment. That is definitely one of the first steps a domainer should take when marketing their domains for sale.

I've often recommended both. And the Afternic+GoDaddy link makes it even more valuable.

Re: Buterfly Labs Accused of Buying Blog to Hide Negative Search Results

Jeff is also on the WHOIS record for Bitcoinx.com and I am almost positive they own BitcoinMining.com as well. Pages on both sites funnel visitors to BFL products with misleading content.

They were probably purchased in the same manner. The Archive.org history for BitcoinX at one point has a message stating "Under new management!" before the site is completely revamped.

Re: Domaining Cheat Sheet – Domain Name Industry Terms from A to Z

Good suggestion, Thanks Braden. The gTLDs that will be successful will have instant recognition. New gTLDs that are smaller brands, obscure references/ phrases, or too small of a niche may struggle to gain traction.

Thanks for your comment.

Re: Incoming gTLD Landgrab

Here is a list of all gTLD applications:
http://www.pool.com/gtld/ap...

Each application goes through an evaluation by ICANN. Google and other search engines are quite capable of identifying the words used in a domain. Using hyphens comes down to personal preference. I recommend not using hyphens because it is more user friendly and memorable without. Thanks for you question.

Re: Using Domain Names as the Cornerstone of SEO

Hey John, thanks for your question. My recommendations in this article refers to using a desirable keyword or phrase in the business name or main domain name.

Using multiple keyword domain names to create backlinks to your main domain name may be considered gray hat and could cause penalties from Google when done the wrong way.

If each domain name is developed into it's own living-and-breathing entity, that could be a great way to build backlinks to you business. You'll want to build a more dynamic site than a mini-site or blog. A restaurant could do a local events calendar & blog or wedding suggestions photo gallery, mini-social network, etc.

Don't forget to include links to relevant external resources on occasion, use varying anchor text when linking to your main domain, and it probably would be beneficial to have the sites hosted on unique servers. Hope this helps. Thanks again.

Re: Investing In Quality Brandable Domain Names

Thank you and great to hear Scott. After learning that 55% of all search queries are more than three words, it's fair to say that businesses are going to capitalize on the long tail and individuals will carve out their niche. Slowly but surely, I believe you're spot on.

http://www.dotsauce.com/201...

Re: Hot August, Cool Deal: Professional Website Development Only $300

Sorry about that, I did get your message and have replied. It's our "gut" feeling or sixth-sense. Can't wait till we learn more about those mysteries as well.

Re: Turnkey Professional Web Development Special and Free Giveaway

Thanks Sammy.
