In this example we have "ens32" as the network interface name. Other on-line example use other names. Is this name just made up and anything one wants will work OR does this relate to a specific network adapter in a machine? If the latter case, how does one know what is available?

It is too bad that after so many years of right-wing government, the state of education in Alberta has fallen so abysmally the average voter has no idea how the system is designed to work.

So many Albertans go off to the polls to vote for Danielle Smith or Raj Sherman or Alison Redford, blissfully unaware that they are supposed to be voting for their riding's representative. But, because it is simple, Albertans think they are voting for a President federally or a Governor provincially, happily ignoring the ineptitude of the person they are actually putting in office - their local MLA or MP.

The Premier does not need to have a seat to be Premier. It is unusual, but it does occur and is normally followed by a very safe by-election. This is true in all provinces as well as Parliament in Ottawa.

The RCMP is incapable of investigating anything except marijuana use and people with legal firearms. The force as it is today could not present evidence the sun will rise tomorrow.

They can't find hundreds of women who are missing...
They can't find any evidence of bribery and government corruption while money just disappears by the billions...
It took them several tries to find the firearms legitimate, licensed owners had in the High River homes the force ILLEGALLY searched...
Their scientific evidence lab is at least 90 days behind (so if you've killed someone and were not caught red-handed you have three months to run away or build an alibi).

Canada's national police force is a disgrace.

And now, we can't call someone on a crime because it might hurt the Prime Malefaction Office? What's the point of even having them.

I do believe Hitler, like many other religious zealots believed in a racial superiority that considered other races lesser to the degree they did not count as human. For example: There are still many people in the southern US who believe non-whites are inferior and don't deserve human rights; there are many in the Mulsim world who consider it fine to kill "infidels"; there are many Israelis who feel killing Palestinians is acceptable to God.

If my God tells me to kill you, why would I fear judgement for doing so?

Maybe this doesn't apply in BC, but in Alberta municipalities are faced with providing services that were previously either provided by or paid for by the province. Neo-con politics and the mantra of "no government and no taxes" has resulted in an inept governing dynasty that actually spend more while delivering less.

Taken one step further and we have a federal government doing the same thing. Spending staggeringly more than predecessor and delivering far, far less.

What does this have to do with snow removal? Well the feds don't do their share so the province has to try and cover but they don't want to do their share either so we are left with the cities forced to deliver more and more front line services with less and less help. That makes for cuts in everything, including stuff like snow removal.

If you want the white stuff off your streets, you will first have to get rid of the snow from Ottawa and Victoria.

Small error in the logic there. If the foreman is there for seniority it is seniority in the job which he is now supervising. He DOES have the experience. Good management is appointing the appropriate foremen and backing them up; and good governance is putting in place good management.

It should also be that way for corporations. They should not be permitted to funnel foreign money into our elections directly or indirectly by leaning on their Canadian suppliers to get their employees to vote one way or the other.

Now let's see if the Sun supports THAT view. After all, corporations - particularly multi-nationals - enjoy an entire raft of tax benefits, perhaps even more than charities, not to mention personal immunity from the actions of their directors. This immunity should preclude the corporation from its "free speech" rights as much or more than a charity.
