Out coached. No strategy (besides try to win the post), no adjustments and poor lineups. We’ll never get anywhere with our guards. Gave Leal charity minutes based on one game. Can’t trade empty possessions and 2’s for opponent 3’s. Yes, PSU shot well but our D contributed to it too.

There was plenty of time to draw the play up in the review. I can see taking the timeout if the defense wasn’t what you thought or the play couldn’t berun. That was just a burned timeout.

I didn’t understand the timeout coming out of the official review down 1, burning the last one with 20 left. Why wasn’t a play draw up during the review for the last shot and hold the TO if needed?!

My only counter argument/player to what you said is what was Zion Williamson in HS. Not saying Carr is / will be Williamson but he's athletic, strong at the rim and "undersized". Yes, I would prioritize shooting too for what Woodson wants to run but high athleticism goes a long way.

Bates deserved more PT than he received after the Cross Roads. Who knows if something was lingering post the family bereavement but his talent and energy was needed at 2/3. He wasn't afraid to shoot, could get to the hole on his own, and had good on ball pressure. I'm hoping he is starter in '23 and takes a big leap.

Hopefully we can see a starting or consistent line-up with Davis and Morgan in the game at the same time, once DD gets his conditioning up. This will get Morgan out of the post on D, where he has picked up cheap fouls, and will get a better match up on O. Our best line-up is DD, JM, RL, AD, and RP. Using DG and JS off the bench. The lack of focus (execution and turnovers) at critical points in the game need to improve. My optimism has waned but hopefully they can finish the season better than where they are at (only way is up) and make a push in the B1G tourney.

If Bryant can't play the post, he shouldn't be out there. I've never seen a big man get his shot blocked as much as he does. He has no post skills offensively or defensively and he isn't skilled enough to the play the "3", which it seems he is trying to play. Flat out soft! Davis should be playing more minutes than Bryant.

All the OG praise in the off/preseason did something to him and/or Crean. He's trying to be something he's not. Get back to running the baseline, slashing and getting the occasional 3 (Troy Williams)

The play of our "bigs" directly effects our guard play since the defense can over extend and help, which is causing a faster pace, no half court set (I don't think Crean teaches anyway), more turnovers, and difficulty for Blackmon, Johnson, Newkirk, and others to get a good look and do something with the ball.

A lot of speculation that the open scholarship could come from Williams or Bryant declaring but Priller's spot could also be a possibility. His production and just being a fan favorite hasn't supported the use.

Simple question. I never said he is going. Can you answer his academic status? People asking and hoping Yogi stays repeatedly and bringing up Priller/April are a lot worse. I hope you post a reply to all those comments too.
