I have to say I agree with both of you. It's hard for anything to compete directly against MGMT right now as I am still hooked on Oracular Spectacular. However, as Marilyn mentioned, The Kooks have managed to create a tune with their cover that seems to be good enough to stand by itself as a great song.

Yeah Crimewave is a great great song. I don't know if you've ever heard the song "Shinda Shima" by Mellow, but it i'm reminded of it every time I hear the vocals in Crimewave. You should check it out.

Haha that sounds like a perfect use of stimulus money. I'm not sure which version it is, but one of the "enhanced" versions of the EP actually comes with 3 videos from their "A Lesson in Crime" release. Let me know if you come across anything like that.
