I noticed CBS will cede the telecast entirely to TNT in a few years. Is CBS insane? NFL and March Madness are the only things I watch on that network.

It bugs me that the more Crean talks the less sense he makes. "I didn't see it until it was on the film... I know exactly what it looks like... Again, it would different if it was something that was after the fact that you see on film." Why do we even bother listening to what he has to say? Maybe the players tune him out too.

I thought the same thing when Dakich mentioned Hulls overhelp D that gave Hofarber a wide-open 3. I love Dakich's commentary because he points out the mistake and then explains what the player should have done.

With the game on the line, Jordy passed up a wide open 3 to throw an ill-advised cross-court pass that was intercepted and returned for a layup.

My elderly mother was dumfounded when Creek was subbed out. I would have liked to have seen VO and Creek see some extended action together.

Let's not overstate Hulls' prospects. As I recall, Hulls was getting high major interest but not offers.

I agree. I'm concerned Crean's system requires having more talent than the other team. He may get that talent, but we may end up with a disorganized, undisciplined team that falls apart in big games.

VO is IU's smartest player too. In fact, all of the other players are seriously deficient in their decisionmaking, but not VO. It seems like he's always in the right spot.

Crean said on the the JMV show tonight that Creek can't practice back-to-back and that he's still behind physically. Creek's been 85% since March. I think we need to lower our expectations of his contribution to this year's team and wish him well.

He had another odd tweet last week, along the lines of "I need to rethink this whole recruiting thing," whatever that means. I wouldn't read too much into it. For all we know, someone else had his phone and tweeted it as a joke. Also, for all the tantalizing things recruits have said about IU (see, e.g., BJ Young), maybe it's a good sign.
