Congratulations. You can obviously live without jailbreaking, unlocking, teathering, cydia, 3g unrestriction, 5 icon dock, backgrounding apps, sbsettings, winterboard, iRealQuickSMS or any number of other "features" that are *not* possible with 3.1 on many devices. For many of us it's an easy call, but we don't have to like it. Especially when it was done for a pretty limited edge case senario that could have been avoided in other ways for 3.0 users, who are still the majority.

Are you using OSX? You can use symbolic links to drop folders where you please.

Hacking it would take some work. You can install it on 3.x with simple change in the info.plist file, however the app won't launch, presumably from some 3.1 sdk code. :(

How about just a splash warning screen on first launch for those of us with 3.0/3.0.1 ? With a very specific limitation like that, I'd gladly "roll the dice".

Please, please, please make it 3.x and not 3.1 only. Less people are on 3.1 then you might think, for a wide variety of reasons.

I will re-name my son Dropbox once it installs on 3.x.

@eric Yes. Even more frustrating is that other large apps that were submitted after Dropbox, but were well publicized, got approved right away. Cough... Rhapsody... cough..
